DERBY MEETING....

Dear Laziofever members coming to the Derby,

At the moment there are no problems in getting the tickets and we strongly suppose things will stay this way. However, there is one issue that you applying for a derby ticket are entitled to be made aware of:

Two years ago, the Italian government established a new special institution called Il Comitato di Analisi sulle Manifestazioni Sportive (CASMS). CASMS was established for safety reasons due to the violence and fan riots that created problems all over Italy. CASMS have the power, if necessary, to either change the ticket rules for a particular game, decide a game is to be played for closed doors or even stop a game. The decision can be made as close as three days prior to the game start. Their decision will be final, even if tickets have already been sold and visitors have booked and planned their stay in Rome for example.

For example, next week Lazio plays Napoli at home in Stadio Olimpico and CASMS have decided that ONLY season ticket holders are entitled to buy tickets (4) to others. Due to this fact, if you don't know anyone with a season ticket, it would be impossible to get a ticket.

What this means for all our forum members that already declared their interrest in a derby ticket, is that Laziofever can not do anything if CASMS decide to change the rules before the derby. If something happens in any of the games leading up to the derby, they have the power to change the ticket rules without warning, or even decide that the Derby is going to be played for closed doors, which in worst case could lead to the situation that no one can get to the game.

This is, as we said, worst case scenario. But we still feel it's our duty to tell all our members and inform about the situation. Laziofever can't guarantee a ticket to the game, all the requests are made at own "risk". But of course we will do our best and it's our strong belief that everything will work out as planned.

It's time for Laziofever to continue a tradition. November 16th Lazio is playing the first derby of the season and Laziofever will once again organize a meeting in Rome for all Laziali around the world. We have some nice memories from previous meetings, where Laziofever member have been given the opportunity to meet for dinners and drinks, talk about Lazio and everything else, and most important reserve and buy tickets to the same section in the stadium.

The official Laziofever Derby-meeting

Game: Roma vs SS Lazio.

Date: November 16th, Stadio Olimpico, 20.30 Italian time.

The LazioFever meeting point: Porta Pia square near Termini station (Stazione Termini)

Hotel and accomodations: Hotel Sallustio
Hotel Sallustio is located very central in Via Flavia, which is also within walking distance of our general meeting point during the Derby Meeting, Piazzale Porta Pia. The Hotel is also close to metro connections and the famous sights of central Rome. Laziofever recommend our members to book their accomodation at Hotel Sallustio, since we have an agreement with them that includes a small discount.

Pubs: The excalibur (Piazza Vescovio), The Bandana Bar (Via Alessandria).

We are most likely going to plan an official dinner for Laziofever members at a restaurant in Rome. This will take place on Saturday the 15th November, since we expect many members are staying in Rome only for the weekend. Before we can make reservations at a restaurants we need to know the exact number of members attending the derby meeting, therefore further info will be made available later on.


Ground transportation main info:
From Stazione Termini to Porta Pia, there are busses going on a regular basis. If you want to walk, fallow Via XX Settembre toward Piazza Porta Pia.

To go to Stadio Olimpico, the easiest way is to take the bus to Flaminio (near Piazza del Popolo). From there change to the tram and go to Piazza Mancini (near Stadio Olimpico). From there you cross the river and walk the last way to the stadium. Bare in a mind that this is an away-game for Lazio, so there will be a lot of yellow and red in the city on matchday.

Ticket reservation by LazioFever: organizer and responsable member: Weninho

In order to create a good atmosphere and keep the planning as simple as possible for us, we kindly ask our members to follow those simple instructions:

1) You're only entitled to reserve a derby-ticket if you're a well known Laziofever-member.
2) You MUST send your ticket-request through a private message only to the responsable member (Weninho).
3) We need your name, last name and ID-card fully scanned.
4) You're only entitled to buy a derby-ticket if you're 18 years or older.
5) Reservation deadline: expired.
6) Payment : as usual Laziofever will pay all tickets in advance, which allows us to organize this meeting with all our well known members.


After a while you will get a PM informing if your request is filled or not. Please note that the confirmation is NOT FINAL until you get this PM.
We suggest the Distinti Nord or Est (aside Curva Nord), since 90% of the Curva Nord is already sold out. The ticket price is not yet official but should be around €25.

For this derby we welcome and invite all partecipators to create a special banner in the stadium: bring your country flag (original material and size) and show your international support for SS Lazio in Stadio Olimpico. All flags will be donated to the team after the match, with your signature on it.

Note: Please notice that Laziofever.org is not a ticket service. We provide our members with match tickets sold by the official organizer of the match. Therefore our members buy the match ticket directly from the official organizer of the match and Laziofever.org do not make any profit from providing the info and data needed to secure a match ticket.

Only well-known Laziofever.org members are included in the ticket service provided by this community. For non Laziofever.org members we kindly invite you to use AS Roma's online ticket service on their official website.

can you tell me about the accomodation, how much for a night, room for two? we will probably stay in a hotel/hostel from 15th until 20th.. around 500€ for 5 nights?

Nice to see that there is a great interrest also for this derby-meeting. I've already got many questions about the scannings of the ID-card/passport, and thought it could be a good idea to clarify our position here.

Since the official organizer for this game is AS Roma, Laziofever will not be able to order tickets directly through SS Lazio. This means that also we have to turn to AS Roma to buy the tickets. And in accordence with their rules and policy about tickets we have to show the scanned documents when we're buying them. We apologize for the inconvenience, but unfortunately this is the only way for us to make sure tickets are provided for everyone.

We would also like to suggest to make your request as qickly as possible. Laziofever can't garuantee that the stadium will not be sold out, but your chances should naturally improve if you provide us with the information as quickly as possible.

Im not so known on this homepage, but ive been member for more then 4 years and longtime ago i was in all kind of diskussions, Bertarelli, Le Guen, Mancio, etc etc, but the last year i have been a distanced Lazio supporter..

Ofcourse i take every chance i get to watch them on TV and i like to visit Roma also, ive know been there 5 times, 3 years ago i was supposed to show up at a meeting with a friend but there were troubles for us so we missed it out, and then it has never happend really,...

But this time we are trughly interested in meeting up with you guys, we are me Agent Orange (Johan) 26 year old from Sweden, and my friend Patrik, he is also from my town and is 25. We have been travelling together everytime and first game we saw live in Rome was Lazio-Sampdoria, Stefano Fiore scored a nice goal but Doria did make a draw afterall. At that time there were around 40,000 spectators, i guess it was in the beginning when things was starting to fall appart real time. My best memory live in Roma is without doubt Di Canios comeback, for some reason we ended up at a pub called Druiids Rocks something, and there were like 200 west ham supporters there only to celebrate and pay tribute to Di Canio, makes you shiver right?? :)

Well i just wanted to make a post, and if we are welcome we are very intrested to meet this time, we have already booked flight and we live as usual in the Hotel Dina, like 100 meters from Original Fans Store.. But we need to do more now, meet new people and exsspecially Lazio people,. So just let me know the score, if we are welcome me and Patrik will for sure show up:

Hello everyone!
I am very proud to see that for an " away Derby" we are going to be more then 25!
At the moment the Tikets are not available and , still, we don't know if Roma will aloud the Lazio tiketing office to sell the Tikest , as in the past, for Lazio supporters and for Distinti , Curva only.
We , Laziali, all wish to be aloud to buy our tikets in Our offices because if the Roma will have the full control of the selling it will be a problem to buy them for you or any other friend non fisically present in rome.
The rule is very simple : One Person One Id One Tiket.

I will inform you as soon as i have more informations.
