I only know that he´s playing in the U17 of the Urus.
I hope that Ballardini let him train with the first squad and not with the youth. And I also think that Barreto should be the player after Rocchi or Cruz decides to quit football.
Maybe when Zarate wants to leave us in some years (hopefully never), he´s our next wonderkid.
He´s defenitly our future!

Gonzalo Barreto finished as the second top scorer in the 2009 South American Under-17 Football Championship behind Edwin Cardona.
Barreto scored 4 goals in 6 matches and finished ahead of the more known kids like Coutinho of Brazil and Villalba and Araujo of Argentina in the top scorers charts.
He is mostly known for his pace and dribbling he's also very good at penalty taking, he can play as a attacking midfielder or as a forward.

Our attack is dead strong now.. Zarate/Barreto and Rocchi/Cruz. I only wish we had that kind of quality throught our team. Not to mention we have Pandev banned from our squad plus Makinwa?? and Inzaghi way down the order.
