What I don't understand is how other players can play alongside such emotion and have any fight themselves. They should be ashamed.

it's not the players - it's the guy that speaks to them in the locker room. the coach has to be not only a good tactician he has to be a good psychologist to know how to set up his boys with the right temper. or some one like fergie who kicks and throws stuff at the players to wake them up

Ballardini puts his hands in his pockets....isnt that enough for you???
Cribari Zarate Siviglia Scaloni Mauri Bizzarri Baronios Eli-Who-Seu Tare Makinwa
The point is...everyone(riomma) thinks Zarate is a defender but its just a smoke cover...because hes a 4th striker.....i love that attacking play ballardini gives us. There had to be some cardinal changes in the team...now thats reality. Foggia, Lichty, Kolarov, Rocchi and Muslera are bunished because of th ebad play aigainst Salzburg. And i cant Agree more with balla-baldy

What about being abit more serious, its derby time!
I hope Balla fields this line up we need a shake up!
----------------Muslera------------------
------Diakite-Stendardo-Radu---------
-Licht----------Brocchi---------Kolarov
--------Foggia--Meghni--Zarate-------
------------------Rocchi-----------------
I think this formation provides enough defensive strength and enough creativity if Rocchi is on form then goals would be no problem at all. I would bet this team would be enough to see most of the teams in Serie A.

If there were ever a time for a win, it is now. Derby, in the relegation zone, upset fans, lackluster play this season...
for once...let's just go out and play football the way we should have been all season long. Put the past behind and let's just go out and PLAY!!!
Nervous.

muslera
lichty diakite stendardo(radu) kolarov
brocchi dabo
foggia matuzalem meghni
zarate
ps/i will give rochi chance first 20 min(to score that 3000 goal),after that replace him with meghni

I'm very pleased that the derby is going to be played in the evening. It makes the atmosphare so much better!

Here we are. In few hours i will join all my old friends in the stadium. I just consigned the last tickets and now i can relax for a while reading some last messages in the forums.
18.000 against 42.000 are the official numbers for tonight match and this , as usual, is what makes us proud to be Laziali. We are attending the match without one expectation only: to scream our anger and our frustration to the team. To light up the last fire inside pur players soul. We are ready to loose and we know that the difference is made by atmosphere and not the player skill. Our team is psikologically a disaster coming from too many defeats, lack of points, lack of management . They are like candles in the wind and for this reason we must protect this little light . We can't do more then this. We can't play. We can't fight anymore for them as we did in the past.
We can , only, show who we are. What we have been and what we will ever.
SS Lazio supporters.

It seems that Ballardini will play with only Zarate up front but this is the derby and I'm in favor of a more attacking setup.
Again we're going to play with three centre backs (Siviglia, Willy and Radu), two full backs (Lichty and Kolarov), a defensive minded midfielder (Brocchi) and a midfielder who is slow as hell (Mauri).
Hopefully Willy and Baronio had a rest and Matu is ready to play.

It is a derby, so anything can happen. but i feel there are som epoints that could make us lift high tonight..
First and foremost, we are lazi and we are a lot more of a club than the merda are. We need to show that tonight, and I guess the passion will be displayed clearer than ever tonight in lo stadio..
They have one of the worse defences in the league, and Maurito cam be succesfull if he has a bright night. He can slalom through them anyday of the week, and this will be our strongest weapon tonight. If only Rocchi could start, and find himself inside the box often enough, we will have a good chance. Merda defenders dont play like a unit.
They are confident they will beat us, and they have been busy stating how much better Totti is than Maurito etc etc. They thuink that they are classes above us. Only look at last year. We have to do what they did.
MAke us proud guys. In the Curva, and in the field!
I sent messages to some Swedish Laziali just a few minutes back. Erme - make them SCREAM tonight!

Well said Paolo,
But with the formation Ballardini is fielding, a 5-3-1-1- or 3-6-1, we can hardly expect anything.
