I started to follow radios in Rome long before laziomania, lazioworld and laziofever were even founded. I've heard many things from the radios, I've read many others from the newspapers, I've seen a lot on the stadium. And I firmly believe that radio is the closest by all means to the fans and to what happens at Lazio.
P.S. About "speculating" on what was happening with lotito. Four people in a radio "speculated" too much and strangely ended up in jail, in a story that is becoming clearer and clearer, unfortunately for lotito and his taped phone calls. But that's another topic and I am not sure it is already time to touch it. So you must be a mod of daily radio show about Lazio to know what's going on? Wow, that's interesting to know. As I said, I listen(ed) to a lot of radio shows, read forums and newspapers, website and so on. It is, in fact, possible to know as much as somebody who is in Rome. I also didn't say that the radio isn't the closest thing to Lazio, put I don't like that you generalize it. Some of the shows are just pure nonsense and we could very well do without them, same goes for some newspaper reports or tv shows. They got all right to exist, I just doubt how much sense they make. Somebody, however, must wonder, why it isn't possible that people collect facts and then release a story rather than speculating and speculating and you know what. That's what I dislike about the media in Rome and about the radio shows. Could you, by the way, be so kind and list me all current radio shows in Rome about Lazio and their schedules and how long they are and how often they air? @BigMamaEagle: If you have some arguments feel free to join the discussion (=not the fight), if not...

| You say the radio shows are by far the closest to club. Using plural suggest that you generalize, but I highly doubt every show can claim it's anywhere close to the team/officials. There might be some, I'm sure of that, but by no means all, since I guess your idea of being close is having inside information from club sources and not from friends of friends who do a show. And where's my list? @BigMamaEagle: If you don't have any arguments to add could you do me a favour and stay out of this (heated) discussion, no matter what kind of member you are? Thank you! | |

| Il Capitano, I think this is becoming tiring. I entered this discussion only because I found the statement "radio are basically bla bla bla and and personal opinions from fans who got no clue of the business going on inside the club" pure bullshit. I think I've explained my point well enough. I've never claimed that the radio are always into the absolute truth. On the other hand, based on what I've seen since I follow Lazio, I claim that radios are much forward than other means of communication in Rome. - Il Capitano wrote:

Feel free to ask Tozzo for the list But I can give you some quick suggestion: start from those whom lotito worried mostly about: Arcivieri, Tirone, Capodaglio, Bada and Plastino. But basically now everything is allright and awake... even Ilario P.S. Slow down, once again. This is not even a "heated" discussion to me, but can look a "real fight" into the eyes of someone else. Recognizing that we are different, from the very low-context to the very high-context, is important to keep this forum unite. BME has always been very kind and she does not deserve picky replies.

Sure mate, my attitude is horrible. Always good to judge somebody from one discussion. So, Conn, you just mentioned five names. Honestly, do you think people need five different daily radio shows about a football club we all love, no doubt, but really five of them? What can you tell about a club every day? Is there such a need for so much discussion on the radio, no matter if they are close to the club or not? I'd rather prefer one quality radio show which I can totally trust rather than five where I can never be sure which got the right inside information or is just doing "politics". Probably this is my main problem, there is just too much talk. PS: My reply to BME was maybe picky, I call it honest and straight. I know not everyone likes it, but it's not that I offended her so I guess it's alright.

I agree the topic is not the right one for a discussion about roman radios (would be nice to split the topic ). On the other hand, I don't think it is "another pointless discussion". Why should it be pointless? I think you all worry too much about (heated) discussions in this forum. They do not lead the forum to implode. On the other hand, they keep it alive. If you want a forum where everyone agrees with everyone else and the tone of any discussion is always like "dear love, there might actually be a chance that perhaps you got it wrong" then let people know openly.

| Thanks Gio. Actually someone tried to kick my arse at the last derby. A Lazio fan complained about me waving our flag too much, and I invited him to fu*k off in tribuna next time. He started it. Unfortunately we got immediately divided by other people: my hugest regret from that evening | |

| When I was in the Delle Alpi in 2004 when we won the cup some fans started to wave a really huge flag, and I mean really huge, at the beginning of half two and like 15-20 couldn't see a sh*it. They almost started a big fight while we were winning the cup in the meantime... | |
