he said "it is hard for me to say goodbye"
he said "i have enjoyed a great great time here"
he said "grazie a tutti"
he said "i will be a lazio fan forever"
and
the french veteran cried, to be precise, he burst into tears. injuries, bench time, defeats, elimination from europa league and relegation battle; all these have never made this dogged man cry, but when the time came to part last night, dabo couldn't help bursting into tears.
a lazio soldier's farewell, sincere tears, a lifetime promise, his trademark thunderbolt-like long drives and his performances good and bad(ain't matter now) in these years.
