I was thinking maybe we should try De Silvestri as center back, the same way Chielini did. Because frankly, he doesn't have what it takes to be a great right back... However I think he could potential become a solid center back, exactly like Chielini. He's got the body build, the height, the pace... His defensive skills are not awesome, but they're good and I think if he works on them he can improve... Any thoughts?

What makes you say that? Well on the other hand i agree that maybe De Silvestri should be given a chance as a CB. To me personaly his got the most determination out of all the players in the lazio squad. Its a shame that our two most determined players play in the same possition.

It could be an idea, but I've never seen LDS win a header in my life, which is necessary for that position. If he is to play in a new position then right wing could be ideal.

As far as I can see, De Silvestri is a right wing back and unless we sell Lichti, we will have to choose between them I do believe. The only way around it is if we are Serie A challengers and Champions League qualifiers on a regular basis.
