I think he opted Ivory Coast to play for, yet it was rejected. Which is considered a major blow.

I dont know why he is still here, if Zauri and Inzaghi left us. he is now considerd as a senior team member! Expect the unexpected: Manfradeni is our Capitano.

With all my due respect to him, I cann't find any positives that he is a football player.

He had to be the first player out of these squad, right after the mercato start. It is all to Delio Rossi decision here, what exactly he sees in him I don't know, but these one of the brightest examples for the worst Lazio player ever......

He has actually been called up for the Ivorian national team twice I think it is, but he was stuck on the bench both times.

Against Porto he was a ghost and did everything wrong......why the hell are we keeping him........i just cant believe it.

He can hold the ball and then control the tempo of the game if needed... and he can play everywhere!! but not in a really good way... let's say that he can do anything... but if I make scale 1 to 10, all the skills he has only get 5 or 6 points

I hardly give him 1 out of 10! Next summer hopefully he will be training in Formello alone!!

Haha, of course they have, I didn't say he was a key player for Ivory Coast or so.

He just never played a match for Lazio as he impressed when playing for Chievo.

Sorry to say this, but he is one of the useless players in the recent Lazio history.

I too have always liked Manfredini and saying he is useless is harsh I believe. He has always given it his all at Lazio and has scored some goals along the way. I am glad Rossi is keeping him here as I do think he is a useful back up player to have in the squad. All the best for a good season Christian!

any one remember Manfradeni scoring the 3rd goal against Palermo in the famous comeback game from 0-2 to 4-2 by 3 years ago by his ass!

It is really strange how Inter are throwing Cesar, Stankovic and Burdisso (in which all have some value), while we still keeping him here around.

If I remember right, Viduka scored an amazing goal with his ass when he was at Celtic.

Come on man it was pure luck

these are harsh words for Manfredini , imo he's the only player that plays with all his heart on the pitch and always give 100 % even if he didnt play good but his fighting spirit is amazing ! plus he's fast he's got an accurate shot reliable on the pitch when fit.

I agree man.... he is a very loyal player and although not the most talented footballer Lazio has ever had, you can not question his desire to play and always giving it his all for the love of Lazio. I love his spirit and as you mention he is fast and can pull a nice shot out of the bag once in a while with accuracy and trouble to the goalkeeper. I really hope he stays and I am sure Rossi sees him as a valuable player in the squad!

you see Manfre would struggle to be a bench player at a top Serie B club, at least in terms of ability, but he gives you experience, influence and passion when it is needed most. these qualities are hard to find in your average player, he's the kind of guy you want in a dressing room, like Tare.

And Firmani is die-hard Lazio fan but his skills sucks and you all said that he must leave.

I personally never said Firmani must leave Lazio, but he too like Manfredini and Tare, may not have the greatest skills ever witnessed, but I believe that they are all influential players and their passion and loyalty, and experience surely has to count for something at least and I am glad that Rossi has thought of this and recognises the need to keep Manfredini and Firmani also in a Biancocelesti shirt.
