Comments on the forum

I am really glad that Laziofever has been resurrected.

But I find everything very unclear.

Why is the forum hosted for free? In all honesty I do not think a free forum would be able to last a community as large as ours. As the volume of our activity increases, will this free forum just die?

Is the layout finalized? I do not really like it one bit because it looks very amateurish, and not the kind of image we should be projecting as the website which unites all Laziali.

1) We resurrected and this was the first goal.
2) The forum is not hosted for free ( the forum templates is )
3) The layout is not finalized and i hope one day that ppl will help with ideas and real cooperation and the reason why is amateurish is because i did the 90%.
4) The image projecting of the forum is not the layout but the community that create it! You can get a great stadium but if the fans inside are jellyfish .....no image at all.

In the last 6 years we , as laziofever, have been more linked to SS Lazio then any other forum in Italy and this is my goal.

The reason why I said it was free because bigforumpro.com provides free forum hosting service.

I know that it is the fans that creates the image, but in this practical world, the first impression is always important. And that is why I feel that we must make the community one with appearance and substance.

I appreciate what you are all doing, in fact I am sure all of us do.

We are hosted as Laziofever.org from Aruba.

How do you add an avatar ? I tried from the gallery thing..but i can`t find anything else beside "own gallery" ..where i uploaded a pic several days ago..but no answer yet from the admins :S

What bothers me more with this scrips is that I have problems with read messages.
I mean, is there a button to mark all the forum as read.

First goal should be to replace:
https://laziofever.forumotion.com/index.htm to http://www.laziofever.org/index.htm or something similar..

About forum template, I could help with SMF, but with this forum i dont know...

The main thing is that laziofever start again, and I'm shure that we'll make it better soon...

I suggest the Laziofever.org logo should not be shown on the forum pages at all, but only on the front page. It's a fine looking logo, but it quickly becomes very annoying having to scroll down after loading a new page. In general there should be as little graphics and other stuff as possible besides the forum template itself for enhanced view. I can only imagine what it's like for people whose monitors can't handle higher resolutions.

Otherwise it's great that Laziofever is finally back.

Most forums have that issue, even worse when it has animated ads, normally forums do have a banner in each page, could be smaller though...

Paolo, what I think some members mean is that the home page says www.laziofever.org but when you
redirect to the forum it becomes https://laziofever.forumotion.com. Are you sure the forum is being hosted
by your private host? Because if not this forum will not last long with the amount of traffic that will be going through
it in a while.

I agree with the above posts... we need hosting exclusively on laziofever.org (Right now it's nothing but a redirect from laziofever). I'd suggest slapping some ads on the forum in a not too obnoxious place to finance the cost of hosting the website/database. Paolo: ma chi e' che fa la programmazione per il sito? I would like to know why Cecco has being given the title of "VIP". What has he done for us lately? He's a lazy bum who has been AWOL for at least a year.

why I cannot view memberlist?? And amins are you set DNS settings in domain account because this https://laziofever.forumotion.com looks very amateur...?

my biggest complaints with the new forum software are no quick reply and no way to jump to unread posts, so i have to remember when i was here last, whether i read that thread, and then guess what page to go to.

i'll also add my name to the list of people who want to see the bigforumpro.com address gone
