| There was more laziali on the forum during the Cagliari game than there was in this Samp game but the interesting thing is everyone is hanging around today! At some point this week, I will go out and have the same number of beers as the number on Cassano's shirt! :smoke: | |

| No, no. What he means is that EVERYONE can be a good supporter when times are good because it's all too easy....
...but only some remain good supporters when times are rough. THIS is part of the character of a true tifoso.

| Well in all honesty from the list that Erme put up I can say that I remember almost 95% from the old Fever and I'm certain that of that number a large portion was even present at Lazioworld and Laziomania, I can't say for sure because I wasn't there. Take it easy Erme, take into consideration that many people have difficulties getting online at times, some are to shy to post, some of the old members possibly don't know of the new forum and i'm sure that if they knew there would be an even greater number of members logged in. I really hope that no-one is implying that the people visiting this forum and new members are gloryhunters of any kind. We should encourage Laziali to join in on the conversation, to establish a contact with us, to communicate their hopes and dreams, their passion and love for the club. I will welcome every new member, every new tifoso, fan or just sympathizer if they choose to support Lazio for the football they play and the sporting ideals the club represents. To end on a "not-horribly-gay" note, respect to all with biancoceleste in their hearts. Avanti Lazio, rock'n'roll | |

My topic was a little" ironic and nothing more because in the last 6 years i never criticize foreign supporters due to the distance from Lazio but, as i still do, i criticize my homeland friends for their lack of passion. In any case let me tell you, again that my topic was also a way to be proud about Laziofever .

| Lazio is not just a football club, it's a way of life! one symbol, one colour, one flag!
I got what Erme meant, but after today's result, I just want to celebrate. I'm not taking it all in yet.

| It's good to see so many Laziali together and it's a testiment to Paolo and all those who made this site and the previous ones possible! It's really difficult to be abroad and to converse with others about Lazio. Over here it's all Celtic and Rangers and EPL, and when Italian football is mentioned it's Milan, Juve, Inter. I also think it's good we are beginning to get some praise now, as it's as if we had been totaly discarded in the last few years in the media and such, everyone seemed to forget we exist, but we are still here and top of Serie A, and that should be dedicated to all Laziali around the world! | |

| The way I saw it, it seems as though Paolo was trying to imply something.
But from what I saw, we have been here through thick and thin, even if it was not visibly apparent from the frequency of our posts. Take me for example, I don't post very often on LazioFever, but I was here since the days of Laziomania. Just that I did not really present myself. That doesn't mean that I do not talk about Lazio everyday. Biancocelesti can vouch for that. Just ask him how many times I bug him in a week, attempting to discuss about Lazio.

| I know Paolo was implying nothing...I think he was just illustrating how more laziali make themselves known when the club is doing well. That has been reflected in the activity on the forum and I always notice new names enter the chats during matchdays and some days, if we win, I see new members and old members return to make a post about the game. It doesn't mean these followers are not as loyal as some of the more regular posters, it's just that they find the time, the desire and the need to have an opinion when we are successful. Just look at how many season tickets we have sold this season compared to last. It is human nature to gain pride and passion when things go well.
I was present during the end days of the old LF (I think I was "caxi19" then and had an avatar of Mauri). Just because I was late joining this community doesn't mean I don't have the same passion as some. I had other obstacles; I had no internet connection until 2 years ago and even then it was dial up. When I was on the old LF, I would sometimes wait 10 minutes on the pages to load, but I waited because LF is the easiest way for me to keep in the know. When the old LF vanished, I was moving to university, had little time and couldn't keep up to date with things. I was just waiting on the new LF to emerge. I was very, very lucky that I decided to look to see if the new LF had come about on the exact day it started up again.
I can empathise with Giolazio as most people where I live tend to support Manchester United and Celtic and then it's just the EPL clubs. Nobody follows Serie A. My love of Lazio came about through being able to watch calcio on terrestrial TV when young. There was no EPL to watch and there is no local, professional clubs near me. I bought into Lazio at a young age and I am still learning all the time. It's not easy where I am and it's frustrating when we don't do well and there's zero media coverage but LF keeps me in touch and I thank the whole team and the members for that. The sense of a community here shows how special Lazio is to all of us.
Sad as it may sound but when I lost the stream yesterday, I still had the chat to keep up to date and when I saw we went one up, I was still punching the air despite my frustration of missing the goal. I am unashamedly proud to support this club and I'll be here come good or bad.

| One thing I find amazing is the different stories of how people began supporting this club, i was brought up on it because my family hails from il regione Lazio, just south of Roma, and even though we live on the other side of the world now, keeping up with news several times a day is a must. amazed though by this site, how many people actually follow Lazio from around the world with no link to the city whatsoever. its brilliant. Only the Italians here follow Serie A and even then most are Milan and Juve, some Inter and some Napoli, the rest is just EPL. no greater pride I get from wearing the biancoceleste around after a win and even after a loss. I often wear the shirt after my team loses, when Italia copped 3 against the Dutch, I wore the tricolore around town for a day. | |

| In regards to the comments made by my fellow Laziale, I must say that I to find myself being a bit of a bandwagon fan, in the sense that sometimes I don't feel the need to post all the time, but I try to frequent the site as much as possible and when I see something that I want to post on such as this topic I do so. I don't think that any of you are bringing into question any body's loyalty to the CLUB or the FANS. But I must say I agree with your dislike for those who only come around when Lazio is doing well. We must endure when we are down and exult when we are doing well. But I don't want to create animosity amongst the members of this forum or any other Laziale. We Must stick together both while we are supporting Lazio and even when we aren't . FORZA LAZIO | |
