| I don't know if we have a similar topic, but I'm curious what happened with our official website. It's a shame that a club with such traditions and history has a such a simple and useless site. Other opinions,answers... | |

| Well this was a hot topic for a while. As we can see things are going better according to the new lazio store, all remains now is to improve the web site. | |

| It is fairly starnge that this has not been dealt with. We should have a well functioning official page with recent news, interviews etc. which is also translated, at least it should be able to chose an English version if nothing else. Different media etc outside Italy do have a hard time finding official information from and about Lazio... | |

| Its embarassing that some provincial clubs in Serie B and C, from small towns with less than 100,000 people have quality websites, and we, from one of the world's biggest cities and the 6th most popular club in Italy, have a rubbish site.
I get all the news I need from places like Corriere dello Sport, Lazialita' and La Lazio Siamo Noi, but the website sort of reflects on the professionalism of the whole club.

| If anyone (paolo) have any connections with the club please tell them to do something about the site. I send them mails on the contact e-mail but no response. I would like to send this message to all Lazio fans who are supporting this club from foreign countries. Lazio still haven't web site who support English, this is a true trouble for international Fans who don't speak Italian. And more the site is horrible, for that big club like Lazio with big ambitions is ashamed to have such a site even a kid can make better. I've been bitching about Lazio's poor public relations in general for years. When are they going to realize that there is a tremendous amount to be gained from establishing an international structure for fan relations? Look at Man U, Juve, Milan etc. they are huge teams because of what they do on a global scale and their fans stretch across the globe. The management needs to recognize the potential for Lazio as a brand name in world football. | |

and once this is done, then they can built a website to conquer the world remember that a few years ago we didn't even had an official website C'mon Lazio is one club with so many fans around the globe, not many clabs can say that. It's about PR and the club internal structure, you know it's not only players Lotito and Rossi, you must take care of fans. We are in dept aren't we, so how to pull out money? by having worse site, by haveing only two stores in Roma. C'mon give me a break, Man Unt have over 100 stores worldwide.

| Lately if been wondering, see and write on this forum and simply can't understand. I've meet so many people from all around the globe that love our Lazio. Lots of forums in Iran, China, Argentina, Canada and so on.... millions of people love it and is bigger outside the field then in game. I simply can't understand how or in which basis Lazio management is working. The club is in big dept so what in hell Lotito is waiting, so many fans and none store outside italy. No connections and bound with this fans. Let me remind u about our web site, for me it don't look like a serious club. Marketing, promotion and PR are important for this kind of staff coz it is not just the football it is business. If someone looks the things from outside he will think that the club is only contained of Lotito and Rossi. | |

| I dont really care about us being able to attract more people from around the world, but having a well functioning web-page both in Italian and English is not too much to ask for. In 2008 a well functioning internet site should not be an option, but a must.
Every single company has a good site, and Lotito being the "man of economy" he is should have given this a thorough thought already...

The marketing is definately an issue. I normally have to be first in Greaves Sports here when the Lazio shirts come in because they sell out quick. I doubt individual stores would be the answer but get more of our merchandise into the existing stores, and for goodness sake fix our website. It was pretty good about 10 years ago, now...

| I come from Macedonia so imagine if there is a store here. Not to mention Serbia (Mihajlovic, Kolarov, Stankovic) we have many supporters back there. Cezch republic (nedved, kozak), Argentina (we can promote to argentina and bring many fans and sell many jersey out of that it is easy with Zarate, Carizzo, Simeone, Veron... ) Get my point | |
