Well we have always been a family here. I hope psyko's father will be good.
p.s. Pazke and Conn I was really enjoying when I read all the adventures. For me and many more that's the only way to go to Olimpico and Rome, but some day (very very soon) we'll be yelling like a crazy at the game.

Been home for a day now and already looking forward to the next derby.
I must say that this derby had it all. The best was of course the great win. And celebrating it with our own great flag (Johan, I mean the lazioaland flag) was great. To share it with all nice lazio-friends from all over the world wasn't bad either. The icing of the cake was of course the saturday night dinner.
Thanks to all who made this meeting one of the best ever. A special thanks to the orginazers Paolo, Alessio, Pieter and Johan W.
When I've downloaded my pictures I will upload some here.
Patric: It made me real sad to hear about your father. Hope he will be back home soon.
See you all next time.

Good you added the word yet, some people might have been disappointed otherwise. In any case the young English fan was obviously the coolest supporter of all fans. Great to see that the love to the club is given to the young generation as well.

Thank you sile. Sorry to hear about hassle booking the train. So is there a fast train from Zagreb to Italy? I think I have seen some fast trains in Ljubljana that go to Rome perhaps.... Nice report.

Awsome Sile. How did you do with the train from Zagreb. How much did that cost you?
Sile did you travel from Zagreb to Rome by train? Can you tell us a short story about it? Thanks
In the Derby Story board...Grazie
We had a problem with ticket reservations because you can only reserve a ticket if you have a credit card. On Wednesday already I noticed that all the 2nd class tickets are being sold (probably because of Easter holidays) and that there will probably be very difficult to get a ticket at the teller on the train station so we scrambled to find a credit card of any kind. We're all students or just started work so that was going to be a problem. Ivan's mom offered to help but for some reason Trenitalia can't process American Express cards that weren't issued in Italy and the Diners Card was denied for no reason so we were pretty worried.
My cousin from Slovenia picked the 4 of us up in Zagreb on Friday at 1am and we drove for 2 1/2 hours to Trieste. When we arrived we saw that the teller was closed until 7 am and the only option left was the self-service machines, and of course all the trains were full, except for first class, so we ended up paying 110€ for a first class ticket (almost double the price of a 2nd class ticket) and we travelled to Rome in style. All of us were on a limited budget but it was this or nothing. Driving to Rome was the very last resort because no-one is familiar with the highways in Italy and the parking would be a nightmare and already at that time we were all awake for 20 hours so...
The regional train was slow, loud and sticky just like Croatia. The ES train from Venezia to Rome was very fast and quiet and the seats in 1st class were a bit more comfortable but every 15 minutes all over the train you could hear from the speakers in loud female voice saying in english all in one breath "we-inform-all-passengers-that-the-restaurant-cart-in-cart-number-5-in-the-middle-of-the-train-is-open-for-all-passengers-and-is-serving-cold-drinks-coffee-and-food-thank-you" then the same in Italian and then the male voice saying we are arriving in Padova/Bologna/Florence/Rome so there was no way of falling asleep and resting just a bit, when we arrived in Rome we were already 28 hours awake
we found the hostel easy, it was rather nice but... The guy on the reception desk was I presume from India or the surrounding countries. He wasn't extatic to see the 5 of us, and it didn't help either that when he introduced himself as "Sheriff" we could barely control our laughter... Although we booked 5 beds in a 8 bed dorm we ended in a 10 bed dorm, but we did not mind that, only that our roommates were very cold and unfriendly.
And the cleanliness was arguable, well I could really care less but look at our friend here on the entrance, on the doormat, i called him Tonetto
The other guests in the hostel were mostly American, and I really can't understand how someone can come to Rome and then sit in front of a computer for hours typing on Facebook how great everything is when they barely left the hostel. Also Paolo warned us about pickpocketers, this girl cam in the hostel complaining how her backpack got stolen, and how now she can't open travel bag because the key to the padlock on the bag was stolen with the backpack. I offered to help and using a wrench and a hammer I "opened" the padlock, the girl quietly said thanks and then later looked at me as if I was a criminal. Weird.

The problem is we all shoot like Carragher or Pearce and friends. Or like Tonetto.

I have good news about my dad. It´s been some tough days for the hole family but after visiting him yesterday we felt a bit relieved, he could move himself and he was speaking a little with us. Today his even better. Sometimes when we speak to him he doesn´t remember anyhing but they say it´s normal after such a big operation. Yesterday I asked him about his trip to Rome but he could´t remember it, today I asked him again. I was so happy when he today could remember the result of the match, he even remembered who did the goals. He said that Zarates goal was amazing=). They think he´s gonna be at the hospital for a month but when he´s back home he´s gonna write about his trip. When he´s feeling better I´m gonna show him all the nice things you been written to him. I´m not gonna write more about my dad, I´m sure he´s gonna be fine! I´m gonna show some pictures later but right now my thoughts is somewhere else. THANKS TO ALL YOU WONDERFUL LAZIALE who supports me and my family right now. My dad is gonna be so touched when he can see what you all been written about him.
