Carrizo Vs Muslera

Lets face it, they are both young !! We would be insensitive if we benched any of them for the whole season next time. We should decide to let one of them go, would like to hear your opinion?

I think we should concentrate on Muslera even if it means losing Carrizo. He is a classy guy with a great attitude. I wouldn't mind sending Carrizo on loan to see how it goes but I wouldn't be too disappointed if he were sold.

Carrizo needs to be shown the door.After his behaviour he deserves nothing less!!!

Muslera is Lazio's future. He will get better as he ages. Plus he made some great saves this year.

keep both, but play carrizo first and second muserela.

For me its either sell Carrizo or loan him out to another Serie A club. One of the two.

Muslera deserves to keep his #1 spot next season after the performances he showed us this campaign, and his attitude is very good. He is young, talented, ambitious and always gives it his all. Forza Fernando!

I voted for Carrizo to be loaned out.

After last season, I really did not think Muslera was good enough, at least for Lazio. His blunders said it all. I was particularly looking forward to Carrizo in goal, I thought he would be our 'Peruzzi', a man who will win points for us. I didn't expect him to be a rock in goal, I was willing to give him time. After a couple of poor performances, he was dropped and he started complaining to the press. This isn't the kind of attitude I would like coming from any Lazio player. Muslera in contrast had no complaints, worked hard and shown his true value when called upon.

I do think Carrizo is the more talented of the two but unless he starts to get his act together, stop complaining and get down to working hard in training. Muslera would be my first choice. In the meantime, a loan would do him good to regain his confidence. But if we were to sell him, judging from what I have seen from him this season, it won't be a huge loss.

Keep Muslera, he is younger, taller, lighter and probably more faithful to the cause. Sell Carrizo and bring back Flavio Roma as backup

A team needs 2 good keepers! If one of them isn't in good form the other will have to be the starter. If we loan one of them to another club it will be a very big mistake. Both of them are really good and a rotating sistem depenting on their recent form would be the best choice in my opinion.

I agree. I still think JPC is the better but if he can prove himself at another club for a year he can possibly come back to Lazio. It will be interesting to see if Nando can handle the pressure if he will be selected as our #1 before the season starts.

Nando for sure, but i dont think it would be to wise to get rid of Carrizo altogether.

Muslera grew up , I don't see any reason why Carrizo can't do the same...

Carizzo as number 1. He is better then Muslera (who had a good season) but needs time to show it. Give the man some credit, will you! It was not his fault Lazio played badly...

I really like Muslera's attitude, technically maybe Carrizo a bit better than Nando, but I would keep Nando and loan/sell Carrizo to other clubs.

A good GK is really hard to get, but a decent GK with good personallity is difficult to find (Nando). As for Carrizo, I heard Atletico is interested in him, maybe we could loan him out and get Banega for a season.

Sell Carrizo.. keep Muslera.

This is one of the most nonsense-like comments I ever read, sorry man. The goal is as big as in Argentina, Spain, Germany, England, wherever... I think there is no doubt that Carrizo can become a superb keeper, he just needs to work on his skills. I pray we keep him, because Muslera is a good second-choice keeper but nothing more, at least not for us if we want to qualify for Europe regularly. The same people that complain now about Carrizo and support Muslera are the ones who will soon come and ask how in the world Lotito only bought us an average keeper (Muslera), who is mistaken-prone like hell. Muslera is a good guy, as it seems, but just average.

I really agree with Skenderbeu about Muslera...

Muslera is doing great, and he gave us the Coppa, we wouldn't get anything this season if not because of him, please respect the guy...

Until today, the one that mistaken-prone like hell and even below average goalie is only Carrizo, sorry for his fans out there, but I'm just tired of his performances. Maybe he should be given another chance and maybe he will become the GK that as good as he's been rated or even more....but what if his not?what if he fails again? Lazio are gonna losing more money because his price will go downhill, it's better to sell him or exchange him with another player right now when people are still highly rating him... I'd say, when there is a good offer for him (in the context that we still get a profit), don't think twice and release him immediately....

As long as Muslera's performing better, he gets the starting spot between the posts. No hypothetical, no potential, just results.

I agree completly with you. Muslera has taken some great steps forward this season and how says that he will stop developing next season?

And "Il capitano", I find it unneccesary to pick on someone(like Skenderbeu) when he is just expressing his thoughts. Do you really think that it is only your thoughts that can turn out to be correct an the ones how doesn't agree with you are just talking rubbish?
