he is a suggestion to reinforce our defense as he doesnt want to play in 2nd division of the English League..

he is solid and great.. didnt have a fantastic season with Newcastle.. but again, nobody did!

There isn't much point in opening a new topic for a player who someone wishes to sign without there being any actual link to him. It makes the forum messy. Please if you wish to make suggestions then do so in the Transfer Suggestion topic.

Fabrizio Coloccini was absolutley dreadful last season, and i dont think he is good enough for us, im serious though, this lad has went downhill big time. Way too many errors in his game. Id rather have Rozenhal or Cribari than him.

El MaEsTro was right. Today there is the first link to Coloccini, his agent says he would be ideal for us but there has been no contact.

Spot on, one of the reason why Newcastle in League Cup next season, he's too inconsistent, made to many mistakes/error.

where does it say anything about Lugano? Doesn't say anything about Lazio on wiki...

it says Banega's current club is Lazio....what is the truth in all this, as it says nothing about his transfer etc etc

Coloccini says his current status is Lazio aswell!

Newcastle United's Fabricio Coloccini Unsure Where His Future Lies – Agent

The Argentina international defender's representative is seeking talks with the Magpies to decide whether he can search for new employers this summer...

The agent of Newcastle United's Fabricio Coloccini has revealed that the 27-year-old is not entirely certain whether or not he will be plying his trade at St. James' Park next season.

It was thought that the 6ft centre-back, who cost the Magpies €12 million (£10.3m) when they signed him from Deportivo last summer, would be sold during the close-season following the club's relegation from the Premier League.

However, the 32-time capped Argentina international's representative, Marcelo Lombilla, says he has had no contact with the Toon since the end of the 2008-09 campaign.

"For weeks now, I only hear silence from Newcastle," Lombilla is quoted as saying by British tabloid The Daily Mail.

"After the relegation, the directors seemed to decide to sell Fabricio.

"But I have heard no more details. Now, without more information, the chances to sell him look negative."

It is claimed that Primera Division duo Sevilla and Real Zaragoza, as well as Serie A pair Lazio and Fiorentina, are interested in the former Boca Juniors star, but may not be able to meet Newcastle's asking price, which is likely to be the price they paid for him.
