Wow, this guy more than surprised me, he rose above my wildest expectations!! He was a definite menace on the flank, fast on the overlap, secure and full of flare!
Nothing but thumbs up for Stephan
And keep it up!

It is true, I have to admit that I was very skeptic about this guy. Yesterday he didn't stop to run , and the communication with Siviglia was on a decent level. I can only join you and wish him to keep developing!

We have to wait and see, a few friendlies is not really the same as a serie A game, or season in that case. He looks promising, and obviously he has some quality considering he is a starter and regular in his NT. Against Liverpool he looked very hungry, and also he seems to have a great physique. Think he can be used as bot RB and RM, but before saying that much more I want to see how good he is att crossing and also, how fast he is and how good his technique really is...

Behrami saga turns to be something good, we got 6 million and spent less than 2 million for Licht. So what probably do we get now?? 4 million Euro and a man that could defense better than Valon...

Lichtsteiner states that Lazio must achieve UEFA Cup qualification and also declares his admiration for Dani Alves and Maicon:

This guy deserves praise and a big round of applause!!! I stood up from my computer and applauded him on his selfless assist to Rocchi. His game today, and in previous games was flawless. Plus, he rolls with the punches ever so coolly, when he was knocked on the floor and broke the corner flag, when he was tripped from behind and someone stepped on his forearm later on he just looked up, smiled and kept playing...
This guy is the revelation of the mercato, surely Zarate will get more praise for knocking in goals and providing assists but remember there is more to football than offensive play, there are also hard working defenders away from the spotlight.
Bravo Stephan, that's all I can say

All my respect to this guy! When he came he was a "noname" player and now he's one of the best players from Serie A. Btw,who has discovered this guy?Have we got some scouts outside there?

Well, I have heard from people who follow the French League that Lichsteiner had been the best RB last season there, he played in Euro 2008 so he was not exactly a total no name guy. A great scoop nevertheless. He is quickly becoming one of most favourite Lazio playes and I think he has been our most consistent performer this season.
As for the scouts, when I read a story how Lotito apparently "scouted" Zarate spending half an hour watching youtube clips of him after a recommendatino by some agent/scout or whatever, I am not sure if we have scouts on our payroll or Lotito has been incredibly lucky. I don't even know who replaced Sabatini, our Director of Sport. After all DS-s are supposed to be in charge of transfers and if we have one, he is never mentioned in the media as far as I know.

I'm not sure Sile.
Great performance again from Lichtsteiner, really like this guy, great signing. Espescially liked the way he was used in midfield today. Could be a option for the derby.

Injury is not as severe as first thought, should be back when training resumes in January.

This is really the picture of Lichti.. Not since christmas has there been written about Lichti in this threat..
And just confirms us, that he is a guy, who makes a fantastic job on the pitch, but he are not in the spotlight, like Zarate, Pandev, and so on...
I just thought that it was time to write something in this threat about the man who scored a goal in a derby, not many defenders does that!
Cheers!
