Davide Torchia, Cribari manager , raise up his voice regarding the brasilian player:: «My feeling is that Emilson is not on the market. If Lazio will let us know what to do, we are ready to discuss because Emilson likes the city very much . He deserves , as the others players, the correct salary and he doesn´t need to wait until the last minutre. If nothing will change for him in the future we are ready to take our decisions.

| Date, 7th july, 2008Cribari: "Laziale for life"The brasilian defender, during an interview with Radio Radio, took the opportunity to talk about his and Lazio's future. Here are some of his words. About the future:"I talked to Rossi before I went to Brazil. I gave to the club my availability of wanting to stay for life in Lazio, without expecting the moon, millions or a place as a regular starter. I've identyfied myself with this squad, this shirt, and I'm happy in Rome. I've told the president that if he wants, I could renew right away. I'm not asking for more money as a condition to stay, all that doesn't lead anywhere, my objective is sooner or later to become the captain of La Lazio. I hope to get a signal of confidence from the club." About the upcoming season:"We're building from two years ago, not from the last year. As a minimum we have to take an Uefa Cup-place, then once we have stabilized ourselfs around the fifth-sixth position, we can think of something more. However, it's not forbidden to dream about the Champions League, considering we've already qualifyed for that." About last seasons problems in the locker room:"Last season some things happened internally that divided us. We were trying to talk about it among us but weren't able to sort out those things." About a possible formation with only three defenders:"Sometimes I played like that when I was in Udinese. I played as a libero, the central of three. It's a position that I like. Even if I have played as a central in a defence of four for practically my whole career, I'm 28 years old and it wouldn't be a problem if Rossi would decide to change model." About the comunication used on the pitch, considering all the different nationalitys:"We will talk in italian and it'll be up to the foreigners to learn it. I'm able to use it well." _____ Translated by Weninho - Laziofever Team Source: corrieredellosport.it | |

| Cribari enjoys ruling Rome
Lazio stopper Emilson Cribari claims the Aquile are stronger than Roma at the moment and has set his sights on securing Champions League football.
It has been a magnificent start to the season for Delio Rossi's troops, who are leading the way after five games.
While city rivals Roma have struggled to get going, Lazio are the surprise package and are bubbling with confidence.
“At the moment we are stronger than Roma and I wish we could play the derby now,” Cribari told Radio Incontro.
“I dream a lot and we are right to be dreaming of the Scudetto because we are up there in the table.
“But at the same time I am interested to see how things go when we hit the inevitable slump.
“I honestly think this is the strongest Lazio side I have played in and I think we have so many options in each position that everyone has to fight for their place.
“We want to regain a place in the Champions League and there's no point in denying that.
“It would also be good to qualify for the UEFA Cup but we are one of the strongest sides in Italy and we can finish in the top four,” he concluded.

| Cribari hails 'harmonious' Lazio
Lazio defender Emilson Cribari claims that this season's much-improved efforts are down to a better atmosphere in the dressing room.
The Aquile underachieved badly last term when they could only finish in the middle of the pack.
Several players had high-profile rows with Coach Delio Rossi and President Claudio Lotito, but the club is now much more tranquil and Lazio are amongst the leaders.
“Last year there was some behaviour inside the dressing room and that caused us to stutter and not get the results on the pitch,” Cribari said on Teleradiostereo.
“This year the club changed some things and we have returned to being the side we were before.
“The harmony is back within the group and you can see that when we train, play and even in the way we joke around.
“We have made a strong start to the season, but it is important that we stay humble and united.”
Cribari finished by discussing his personal commitment to the Stadio Olimpico outfit.
“If it was up to me, I would renew until 2015,” the Brazilian declared. “But my current contract expires in 2011 so I have no problem with waiting for a bit.”

| FORZA CRIBARI!!!!
I have liked this guy since the day he joined Lazio before he even played a game for this great club and I am happy every time I read the good things he says about our beloved club and that he loves it here and wants to stay. These are the kinds of players I respect and love seeing wearing the Biancocelesti colours proudly!

He is full of ambition but his ambition revolves around Lazio. That is excellent to witness and hear.

| It seems another of our CB's is in a row with our coach. Now it's Cribari. I dont understand Rossi, why he splits with a half of our squad (Stendardo, Zauri, Mutarelli, Cribari, maybe De Silvestri.. and maybe other unknown splits..). | |

I have read this before in this forum and I wonder if it there is any truth to it. From what I know he has had a minoir injury, together with Siviglia he was a disaster last season and this season as well and Mister has decided to opt for Siviglia rather than Cribari when deciding on who he should pair up with Roz...

| Crib got injured in that Torino game very early on and he was subbed much to his dissatisfaction, as if he knew what was to follow. Other players filled in the spot and now it's up to cribari to earn a place back in the team and the best way to do so is trying hard and doing his best in the training, not bad mouthing the coach. This situation will rectify itself. On a positive side note the same article mentions a good possibility Makinwa is set for Spain in January, Malaga or Mallorca being the probable destinations | |

Well, I think both of them are pretty useless as we intend to be a team for Europe and not a team fighting for survival. I guess Siviglia has some leadership skills that Cribari lacks and that is pretty well needed in a defensive line that consists of three others that have not got experience from il Calcio... I am not agreeing with the choice, only trying to understand what the reasons could be an old, slow and pretty uncausious player is fielded week in and week out...

Lazio suffered a shock 3-0 defeat at the hands of Chievo in the Stadio Olimpico this afternoon and defender Emilson Cribari had some very harsh things to say during the post-match interviews.
“At the end of the season I am leaving,” said the Brazilian, according to TuttoMercatoWeb. Cribari was largely to blame for Chievo’s second goal, and was eventually taken off by his coach Delio Rossi. He later explained that he took exception at his removal from the pitch and the response of the Lazio faithful.
“I was not happy about the substitution and the whistles of the crowd,” Cribari stated, “I know I made a big mistake in the first half, but I really felt picked on.
“I promise to give everything I can in my last few games, but then I want to leave. I don’t even care if [Lazio president Claudio] Lotito does not pay me all my wages, I am out of here.”
Reggina are rumoured to be interested in signing the 28-year-old stopper, who joined the Biancocelesti from Udinese in 2005.
Simone Finaldi, Goal.com
You would be doing us a huge gavor, evebn if I think its Siviglia who should leave so we can rejuvenate the squad.

| Tells us a bit about the situation in the locker room and the relationship between Lotito and players. Lets see how many prolong their contracts in the ens. Cribari is no larger loss, but he is definetely showing that things are not completely ok in the dressing room and inside the club at the moment.. | |
