Tommaso ROCCHI

Rocchi out.

I believe he is finsihed at the top level. I think we are beginning to see a frustrated Tommaso who knows he is not going to make it as a first teamer anymore. I think he knows he can't cut is as captain and ultimately he should depart.

If I'm wrong, I'll hold my hands up. However, I think his career at the top level is coming to an end and perhaps for Lazio's future we should cash in on him. He has served us well but he could be problematic as the season goes on.

Sorry man, but I can't agree with you there.

Rocchi has done so much for this club and he has all the experience we need. He's played Serie A, Champions League, scored in Derbies, good relationship with the tifosi and he's the captain and one of few Italians in the side.

How is he finished?? He's 31 and was scoring goals right up until his injury in China. Even in that game he scored and looked dangerous before going off. He's the best true punta we have. The reasons he doesn't work well with Zarate are quite obvious. He didn't have that pre-season to gel with Mauro and then missed 6-7 games.

During that time Mauro stepped up and did his job which is good but obviously its gone to his head a bit. He's selfish on the park and started talking of the Scudetto.

Rocchi said last week that we will go nowhere if this lack of team cohesion on that park continues, he's right. We made CL 2 years ago simply because the way we played as a team.

A fit Rocchi will score goals again and more importantly be able to lead the team. I think he finds it hard to adapt to the captaincy now after missing so much and Zarate having taken over as the star man if you like.

and if Lotito did make the mistake of getting rid of him, chances are we'll get little cash and his replacement will be garbage like Makinwa.

Rocchi is not going anywhere, and he should not either. No matter how bad he plays these days we need him and eventually he will get in form and be the Rocchi we all know...

The goal today against palermo showed exactly why we need Rocchi...

I wish you only health Rocchi. Only health and you can score some more goals for Lazio. God , I have missed that clear understanding between him and Pandev. Today it was just hinted , but I hope we will see it a lot more in the future. Stay healthy Rocchi , Forza!

yesterday, Rocchi acted as the pro he is. Benched, came on, had great impact, celebrated like a captain should and no complaints. If nothing else, the other players must watch him and learn.

Today showed us how important Tommaso Rocchi is for the team. Period.

Has now scored in two consecutive games, but I wonder if he got injured today or not?

Alongside Pandev, we're starting to see the Rocchi we all know.

It's not known the thing we know is just that he picked it up in the 1. half at sampdoria..

It's his thigh. Probably a small tear of some kind that could worsen.

Yes, Tommaso Rocchi will wear the number 9 shirt this season as he prepares to enter history as one of the few players to have scored 100 Serie A goals for Lazio. The number 9 is significant to Lazio as it has been worn by the likes of Silvio Piola and Bruno Giordano who have reached that 100 goal point in bianoceleste, as well as Giorgio Chinaglia, Paolo Di Canio and Marcelo Salas.
