The passion and determination was there but much like last season's opening derby, it was channeled in completely the wrong way. Confidence is at an all-time low. Haven't a clue how we address it now but I know what shouldn't be done, put it that way.

Impose a silenzio stampa, quarantine the players, deal with the problem internally. Train hard and talk to the players, find the reason for the goal drought and work on it. Issue a statement to the fans to call them to unite and help the club in this tough situation. Ask the fans to take us to the win against Siena.

In an ideal world, yes, but not a chance that would work. At least not the call to unite.

Cagliari played as a team and we played as if our players saw each other for the first time, the total lack of support in attack and the wildly misplaced passes would have been hilarious if I weren't a Lazio fan. The club is becoming a joke. I don't get it really, first we show tons of spirit and creativity (if wastefulness) in attack against Samp and Villareal now we can't create smelling as in two games? Honestly I think the Formello intervention only brought more nerves into play and more anxiety which are the two things you need least in football apart from injuries and disqualifications. The only way we can take anything from this if we kep a cool head.
