Serie A: LAZIO-JUVENTUS, Saturday, 12-09-09

If it was in Turin, i wouldn't be too confident, but at home, i think we would need at least a draw to satisfy my expectaion that we will challenge for a CL spot this season.

I believe Juve still have a score to settle with us for the elimination out of coppa last season. Last season at home we drew against them in the league and won in the Coppa, but that was last year. Their game against merda showed just what their capable of playing away from home, and they're significantly stronger than last year.

Still we are strong, we have enough time to rest and put some of our weaker performances behind us. I presume a good number of Juve players will be called for their respective NT's so they may be more fatigued than us (which raises a question - who's been called for the NT from our players?).

I sincerely hope for a good game and a great turnout from the crowd like the Coppa game last year with all he banners and flags!!!

I don't think we're gonna win this. Juve is to strong for us i think. I hope it will be a draw, but i don't think so. If it will be a draw, i'll be happy.

I look forward to this top of the table clash, it will be a great game I feel. We have players that can hurt them, and after last year in the coppa they know it.

Yes, they are much stronger than last year and there performance on sunday was superb, but we can do well. I hope to see Ledesma back in this one.

I can't see Lazio getting anything from this game unfortunately.

Juve looked good at the weekend and Diego is a fantastic signing for them.

I hope I'm wrong but the best Lazio can hope for is a draw I reckon.

Cribari is suspended for this match, and Siviglia will try to recover, which leaves us with Diakite and Radu for CB and possibly Stendardo, but that's unlikely. My optimism is dwindling a bit, still this is winnable.

I'd put Scaloni as a centre back against them if that's the case.

Well at least we know Marchisio is out with a foot problem..so that is one down...Given they sold Cristiano Zanetti..Perhaps this may leave them in a bind?

Sissoko is still injured aswell, perhaps this will force them to put somone in an unfamilar position..

However, Cribari out is a massive loss..As they will play Amauri and Iaquinta up front..Two big strong, quick lads..

We don't match up too well against them.

Our defence just has to out-manouevre whoever they play upfront. In an ideal world, I'd want Ledesma and Brocchi hassling Diego like predators. Diego is the main man already in this new Juventus. If we keep him at bay and if our attack has a good game, we can get a point or three from this.

A loss, however, will not be the end of the world.

like i have already mentioned, with this midfield we have now we are serie b material
People may disagree with me, but we will see in a couple of months time, i predict we will be 12th in the table.

Juve for me is the stronges teamt in serie a this year, players like diego, melo, amauri will kill us. They have done some amazing things this mercato.

First, no predictions in the game thread. Not a rule I invented.

Second, you remind me of Marvin, the depressed robot from "The hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy".

Third, Juventus narrowly beat Chievo at home, while we did that away with 10 men. And while they may have Diego we have Zarate. Let me illustrate my point

Perhaps a good chance to try some new things, Foggia should start with Zarate-Rocchi. will be interesting to see who the CB pairing is though with Cribari suspended. Juve are immense but are also vulnerable. They weren't dominant against Roma so we can cause them problems.
