@ Conn:

If you're going to keep quoting me, I have no option to reply out of principle Very Happy I guess most people see it as targeting...sigh...if only they knew.

I don't trust nor listen to your story of events. I can draw my own conclusions from the comfort of my sitting room. You're not here to educate me. However, if that keeps you satisfied, please continue...

I saw what I saw and heard what I heard.

Booing helps nothing. End of.

If I were in Rome, I would go to Formello with all my flags and chant and chant and chant until my throat hurt. The guys need support. I understand the frustration and need to lash out at the players but it will only prolong the situation in my opinion.

Caxi, you keep writing bullshit and be sure I will be here to reply.

From the confort of your sitting room you know almost nothing of what happens on the stands so you should be kind enough to give judgments on things you know well.

Otherwise you'll keep collecting "figure di merda", like this very last one Very Happy

Sile, I don't think I've anything to add. I've already told you a long time ago... people like you do deserve lotito.

Sure, the sit in might not have helped the team in the short run, making them insecure in the game yesterday. To me, howewer, it makes no difference in the long run. The important thing is that the supporters made their point on Formello and raised their opinion for the future.

The players and the manager went to Bari and did something that is not acceptable in Lazio. The supporters reacted to that and made their point. Would it be better to say nothing and simply hope that it doesn't happen again in the future? With all respect for Ballardini, but him telling the players how bad is was is not the same as if the supporters does.

In addition, as far as I know the protests were mainly directed to the management and not the players (with a few exceptions). And as far as I know no player were boed before the game yesterday and the curva gave it's full support during most parts of the game. If anyone had another wiew, then of course please feel free to correct me. The curva supported the team and felt it was given nothing in return. What else to do than respond with booing to make a point? Write the societá a letter? Very Happy

"I only have to think about doing a good job. Then if there are persons that thinks I'm not doing that, they have the right to protest. I can only respect their opinion and do better."

Davide Ballardini at the press conference after the game.

Every one of these players and managers knew about "la piazza" when they signed for Lazio. They knew about the history of this club and they knew that Rome, compared to many other city's, is a very special place to work in. Supporters that raise their opinions in a civilized and fair way can't be news to them. And as long as the curva supports the team, which I think it has done in every game, I see absolutely no wrong in doing that.

Personally I'd like to think that many of the things that went wrong this season is consquences of how Lazio is beeing managed, therefore I won't critisize the taem to much right now. But I certainly understand why supporters react and I very much respect those who does. Because four point in eight games shows that something is wrong also in the team.

Johan, but the thing is that actually a sit-in of fans protesting does not make the players that play like **** feel insecure. They are not kids. The protest makes the players "think" and focus. Statistically, a team always performs better after a protest sit in. (And in fact we all expected a great match by them yesterday.)

I have the pleasure to know well one of the 80s Lazio players and we discussed many times about the fans attitude during his years at Lazio, when the sit-in were almost a constant. The same thing was just said by Facco at the pre match interview on the Radio.

What makes the players feeling insecure is playing like **** and being humiliated by a newly promoted team such as Bari last sunday...

Funny stuff I read here, Caxi knows what's going on in the comfort of his room somewhere in Ireland, telling Conn who stands every week in CN he don't belive him, while Sile is happy by the "effort" against Cagliari, despite we didn't had one clear chance to score and despite our game still is at Serie C1 level, depending on what will Zarate do. Congrats boys if that is all what makes you happy. Wink The fans shuld keep booing and protest every game they loose in this "no fight" way, no matter if the players are sad, they are not kids, they are paid good money to play this sh!ty.

This would work a treat, and be a better protest than the confrontational one staged at formello. No words, No "alleged" violence... just nothingness.

I can argue with my wife all day even when i know i'm wrong, but the argument just gets bigger & bigger. But when i get the silent treatment...it kills me.

Probably impossible but what a chock it would be to the players and Lotito.

It would be a huge statement.

La Lazio left Formello trainin centre this morning to a secret destination.
Before the match with siena La Lazio choose to "retire" for 3 days far from Rome to get more concetration .
At the moment only few are informed where they are ( near siena 30 km) .

Siena already sacked their coach so sunday we will be given hell there. Real will soon for sure... How long we should wait until we sack Ballardini?

Some one said that the players are feeling shaky after they have been booed at..well that is why they are professionals and that is why they are getting paid, to work no matter what are the circumstances. They should come to Bulgaria and see how players play although from the stands they are calling them whores and much worse. Yes the bulgarian league is not strong but at least the players give their best for a much smaller amount of money. That booing should only make them think are we giving enough on the pitch? Am I a friend with with the guy next to me? Am I willing to help him on the pitch? Is he willing to do so?

Now there will be some one saying yeaaaah but they are not getting paid so much...well sitting 1 point over the relegation zone how much should they be paid? Teams like bari parma and etc kicked the hell out of us and don't even cost as half as our squad ( and that goes to ppl who say we don't have players). I personally think that players should get 100 k of salary and everything else should be bonuses to make him play his ass off !

And Conn no offense but trying to change Caxi's point of view just won't work. He sees things one way you see it the other. And always reminding us that things are different on the stands (where you can go) and at home far away (where most of us are) doesn't make you a bigger fan than us, it doesn't mean it hurts us less than you and certainly doesn't make your opinion the right one. That's why this is a forum where every one can express their own point of view. We are 6 billion ppl on the planet - you can't expect from them to have the same point of view, right? Peace.

in tough times I always like to remember this :https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WO4tIrjBDkk

either they heal as a team now or we are going down. I think we can do it! FORZA LAZIO

My post is long enough but seeing centro's post made me wright something else.
Why Lotito should be blamed? He got us a 20 mil striker, he got us two wing backs who are NT players, he got us a GK that is a NT player, we have a attacking midfielder who is a probable NT, we have an attacker that was a NT, I don't know if Radu is a NT think he was, we have a decent pair of defenders who are not playing like one recently, we have Dia which can be a great defender if a good coach works with him. The only problem with Lotito right now is he should sack Balla and get a REAL coach instead, some one who can motivate the team and get them to play their best!

It does not really matter and I don`t really care where they are.

I think Lotito should retire somewhere in a secret place and re-think his policies of administerin this club.

Really? Not one clear chance?

1. How about Kolarov's shot through the legs of the keeper in the 3rd minute?
2. How about Zarate's volley after the chip in by Matuzalem?
3. How about the clear penalty on Zarate that wasn't given?
4. How about that wonderful cut in and shot from Zarate that went just wide?
5. How about that wonderful cut in and shot from Matuzalem that went just wide?
6. How about that wonderful shot from Kolarov from 30 meters that the keeper barely took out?

Try watching the game for once, if not then there's this wonderful thing called youtube where you can at least watch the highlights before quoting sth I said and writing a bullshit comment. Try it, it will do you good. Go on, try, it will only take 3 minutes, less than it took you to write that piece of sh1t comment.

Well, Mr I-know-everything, don't do this bitchy attitude with me, ok? All those chances came out of the blue, no clear ideas was behind those. Maybe if you stick you'r head out of the Lotitos ass, you would notice what every person noticed some while ago. We have no clear idea how to play, we lost at HOME to Cagliari, we lost to BARI without creating a single chance. Why the hell CN booed then? Cuz they liked that desperate Kolarov shot from 30 meters? Please, give me a break. And who are you to say that my comment are sh!ty? I am sick and tired with people like you, smartass I-am-all-that, who think that everything they write are gold.

I don't need to take sh!t from people that have different thoughts than me and I don't understand why Sile needs to answer in the way he does if he have different view on things. I don't agree with him but I don't call his comments sh!ty. Some people need a attitude adjustment.
