it's possible that a 4-4-2 can be played with just Pandev and Rocchi up front with Mauri on the left, Foggia on the right and then Ledesma and Mudingayi in the middle.

Don t think Mauri is suitable as winger.He has neither velocity , or good technique. He is too sluggish and cant imagine to make furious breaks into opponents flank. However he is good to take down high balls for attackers , to keep the ball and carry away another's defender and make passes after that. His place for me is right there in the center , to crush with physique the enemy defense.

we should get a reply from Caligari tomorrow (deadline) about Foggia wether they will sign him or not. if I am not worng they have to pay only 4.5 M USD and if Caligari president is wise enough he will sign him to keep him for 1-2 years and after then he will sell him for big!!

Yes!! And then after one more year of loan he would surely decide not to extend a contact with us...

Today and according to calciomercato.com, Foggia will return to Lazio (: the player stated yesterday that he is still unaware about his future.

If this one is true, this will the best news in this mercato up 2 date.

I really hope this is true and that Pasquale has returned to Lazio .... also hope he does well and gets more starts for us as he deserves it in my opinion. FORZA FOGGIA!!!!

So is he back with us or not? I remember Rossi was the one who asked Foggia to be included in the Oddo deal from Milan. Really we could put him to a lot of use. With Mauri's bad form last season and Meghni's constant injuries, he would have provide that spark of creativity we really lack.

I'm really tired of watching our midfielders who are good at pressuring opponents and taking the ball back (Mutarelli, Mudingayi) but afterwards, don't know what to do with it and just send the ball back to our defenders. At least Foggia knows how to dribble.

Great news, Fogiga will for sure play an important part this year.

Havent heard anything that could lable him as a troublemaker when he has been in Lazio...he is a bit stubborn and so on, but this player has enormous talent and if we dont keep him we are making a huge mistake...I remember the game against Cagliari and how he was a threat all the time...there mst be space for him in the team...

Lazio should play 3-5-2 with Foggia!
