News : Brazil can forget Anderson for the WC2010. Got a knee-injury Wednesday during the MUFC-WHU game.

I'll cheer for Italy and the Lazio players Will be strange to not see Sweden there, as far as I'm able to recall Sweden has reached all tournaments (barely remember 1998). At least one can watch the games a bit more relaxed.

News: Manchester City defender Wayne Bridge announces he does not wish to be chosen for England duty, thereby ruling himself out of this summer's World Cup.
Bridge's statement read:
Quote :
"I have thought long and hard about my position in the England football team in the light of the reporting and events over the last few weeks.
"It has always been an honour to play for England. However, after careful thought I believe my position in the squad is now untenable and potentially divisive.
"Sadly therefore I feel for the sake of the team and in order to avoid what will be inevitable distractions, I have decided not to put myself forward for selection.
"I have today informed the management of this decision. I wish the team all the very best in South Africa."

Terry loves to score at Bridge.
The stadium in Durban looks fantastic. I just dislike this kind of instrument they used during the Confed Cup which made that silly noise...

Pazke, make a poll who will win the WC in SA.
I think it would be interesting.

Yeah, I was thinking that too but if vote cancelling is enabled, there's no harm in starting it up now.

Its a bit early to vote, especially without knowing what the final squads will be and if any key players will miss the Cup due to injury, etc. I've always been a fan of Germany, Italy and Argentina so I hope to see them all do well.
Btw Pazke..... where is the NZ option? I don't see it.....

I think Spain will win, but Holland could be the out-sider.

Went to Paris yesterday ... 0-2 nuff said ... enjoy it
the game wasn't important, we went there for my little nephew Faustinio, who died 1 month ago, he lost his battle over cancer... last night I saw 22 stars on the pitch ... he's seeing millions every night 4-ever.
Faustinio (1994-2010) Rest In Peace with love

I cant wait for the WC!
I want to have that feeling again, the same feeling that shook through my body the precise time the below picture was taken!
