The holiday in question is Epiphany http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epiphany_%28holiday%29 and it's celebrated and is a day off in Croatia. Not in all countries it's a free day.

According to Julian calendar Orthodox Christians celebrate Christmas Eve on January 6th and Christmas on January 7th (of the Gregorian calendar).

Hey, I am 10 exams from becoming a teacher - 15 days off for Christmas, 10 days off for Easter + the whole summer and every holiday and weekend

The only day I had off work over the holidays was Christmas day.On boxing day I had to open up the shop at 7:30 am.No rest for the wicked

Anyway i've managed to get 2 hours off for the match on Wednesday.Good stuff!!!

New year, fresh start, I hope to see a determined Lazio.

No Foggia or Stendardo but we can do it. Livorno and Cosmi will be hungry for a win but I feel good about the team putting in a good performance, based on the last few games before the break, and kicking off 2010 well. Hope to see Floccari feature at some point and great to see Matuzalem return from injury, and Zarate from suspension.
