| Last thing that i see on the net is that he has some kind of medical problem and if that is the case the whole deal could be no-deal. WTF!?!?! Is that true? | |

| Lazio are signing Jakob Poulsen, Danish international. 3 million euro, permanent transfer.
IMO this is a backup signing after we missed out on Zuniga. Bit of a gamble.

| Jakob Poulsen (born 7 July 1983) is a Danish football midfielder playing for AGF Aarhus. After some strong league performances for AGF and for the Danish League national team in 2009, he was called up for the Danish national team to play a friendly against Greece and then later for the matches against Albania and Sweden to help Denmark in their 2010 FIFA World Cup qualification campaign, also playing from start. Poulsen started his senior career with Esbjerg fB, before moving to Dutch side SC Heerenveen in 2006. He joined AGF Aarhus in the summer of 2008. having in mind Danmark have a stable NT he should be a good player. but what is his position ? http://transfermarkt.de/de/spieler/20861/jakob-poulsen/profil.html player of 2009 for Danmark. Nice... | |

| He is a right back/right midfielder. You can view him as a back-up to Lichti and finally, a De Silvestri replacement or you can see him as the right midfielder we have long been looking for.
I reckon Lichti is gone in the summer unless something dramatically changes as this signing doesn't make much sense otherwise. We have Faraoni coming back to fitness after all.

If Paolo says confirmed, it means confirmed!! Poulsen a right back/right midfielder type of player, hmm he reminds me of someone, Christian Keller

It seems we discard Eguren because of Diaz or Ederson.... This is Lotito's style.... Where did you read about this mate?? It sounds right. Typical cheap ass Lotito. I'm still so gutted that Eguren won't play for Lazio. Out of all the transfers this past mercato I was the most excited about his to be honest. Hopefully Lotito puts things right and puts Eguren back into the squad. He won't be sorry. But is this possible now - given that Dias has arrived?

hate to put it up but: I think a club is allowed to sign only 1 NON EU per season. It doesn't matter how many spots we have. I think that is what happened with Carrizo - Kolarov move.

He's back training with Villarreal. Thanks for clearing that up Chris. So if he is training with Villarreal, does that mean he can still play for them until the end of the season? Or is he only training at their facilities, while Lotito is paying his salary? This saga is very messy!

So if he is training with Villarreal, does that mean he can still play for them until the end of the season? Or is he only training at their facilities, while Lotito is paying his salary? This saga is very messy! Lotito has paid nothing. Villarreal are going to court to get the transfer fee (500k euro + the permanent fee in June). Villarreal have the contracts to prove that he was transferred to Lazio. He is training with Villarreal but he isn't their player and at this stage he can't play for anyone until June which will probably mean no World Cup. I feel so sorry for the guy.

| Here is a part of what I write on another forum. This is what I believe that happened and I wrote this 2 days ago.
Eguren deal should be called controversial and nothing more. Its true that Lazio and Villarreal signed a contract. 500 000 for loan and then payment of 1 500 000. As we all know only way this contract to became valid is if player medical test turn out positive. Lazio stated in the media that Eguren failed the medical (coz of high blood pressure) and thus will be returned to Villarreal but even more important, contract will be void. Today reports clam that Villarreal doctors have done test on Eguren, those test turn out fine and it will be sent to Lazio. I also read that he holds Swedish passport and thus will register as EU player. Well I doubt that! Felice Pulici had interview on Radio Sei (show is called "Lazio di sera") here is what he said about this matter : If the agreement were to be considered valid, it would be to risk the Brazilian Andre Dias. Why is that I wonder? Maybe Italian Federation (or whatever institution) didn't accept Eguren as EU player. Lotito knew that so he manipulate with Eguren Medical result. Again WHY? Because few transfers depend on that one NON-EU spot, Ederson (this is why we don't sign him), Dias (clearly non-eu), Eguren, Rever... Case Closed.

I feel so sorry for the guy. Thanks for that. What a real shame. His World Cup chances seem to be disappearing and it looks as though its all because of Lotito. Poor Eguren.
