However...
It saddens me even more that some people are willing to accept B as if it is part of some twisted destiny. Ok, so I have disagreed with many countless times in the past over how we can emerge from this situation but to actually accept it is another thing entirely...
Non Mollare Mai. Im with you on this one.I'll accept Serie B if it happens. It hasn't happened yet,so f*ck it. NON MOLLARE MAI

| Simple as this, two teams fight to avoid relegation. We home with the support of our fans, Catania away.
The onse that win prove that they want to stay in Serie A.

second: Good display defensively! Dias did well so did Biava. Hitz needs some time. Catania had one fucking chance to score and they took it. and we gave them that chance cause of some misunderstanding between Mauri and Kolarov. actually mauri did well - seeing the highlights he was our most dangerous player.
I agree with everything said above. It wasn't a bad game for us. We were defensively quite solid, both Biava and Dias played quite well. Hitz seems to be slightly out of form, but we saw some indications of his cannon. Mauri was perhaps the best player for us. His technique still sucks big time, but for his credit he made 2 very good runs which resulted in 2 good scoring chances. Shame he couldn't finish either of those. Kolarov was average at best today, for every good pass he made, there were 2 terrible passes from him. Anyone else noticing that Zarate passes more to Kolarov than anyone else? I think it's odd to say the least... Floccari played quite well too, just didn't get into any clear scoring chances. One major issue I had with todays game. Lack of urgency from start was quite painful to follow.

| Didn't see the game so just watched the highlights now.
Looks as though the team created several chances (Zarate even hit the bar). Some should have been taken but weren't and unfortunately we payed the ultimate price for this inefficiency as Catania took 1 of their only 2-3 chances and all 3 points back to Sicily - while also moving ahead of us in the standings.
It was a pretty unlucky result, given the performance of the team, I agree - but we've been saying this too much all season long. It looks as though there wasn't much urgency either.
Something needs to change and fast. We're now in the bottom 3 in Serie A and need to get out of it. As always I have faith in Lazio, but sadly not so much in Lotito and his management team. Ballardini is really getting on my nerves as well.

| In my opinion,
there are only 2 options:
(i) If Balla has any idea of what this club means to the fans, he'll admit he is incapable of doing his job & resign immediately.
(ii) If Lotito has any idea of what this club means to the fans, he'll admit Balla is incapable of doing his job & sack him immediately.
Or, the ultimate solution....
(iii) If Lotito has any idea of what this club means to the fans, he'll sack Balla first, then admit he is incapable of presiding over the club and relinquish his shares immediately.
Fellas, something drastic must happen now, and i dont think i can hold my breath much longer?

| Balla will be let go eventually (in the next two weeks). WE are now in survival mode. We should have won yesterdays game, but we did not and this has been the same story all season long.
So, F it...game is over. Next up...Parma.

So, F it...game is over. Next up...Parma. I am curious to know what is survival mode since the results show that Lazio will not be surviving in Sere A? Yesterdays game was galling. How can Lazio lose to a team that has only managed five previous wins in Serie A since returning to the top flight in 2006? It is clear. Ballardini must go. There is nothing of his tenure at Lazio to suggest that he will be anything other then a failure.

He seemed to be a bit inaccurate but otherwise he was good. Catania blocked all his cannons, made a few good runs and passes. Seems to be a good acquisition, just need a bit of time to get it going.

| IMO, survival mode (as I stated) is doing whatever it takes to get points. Step 1 was sacking Balla and his madness / sh*tty formations. Now, we have a new Mister and he must put forth the best attack we have. You only win when you score goals...something we don't do a lot of. So...now or never!!! | |
