LAZIO NAPOLI important info for tickets.

ATTENTION PLEASE:

LAZIO NAPOLI TICKETS:

As you know there are some matches like Lazio Atalanta, lazio Livorno, considered "dangerous" from the CASMS ( Police special branch).
When a match is considered dangerous the Casm aloud ONLY the season tickets and the admission ONLY for resident in Rome and Lazio ( region).

It happened already that many tourists ( Lazio Atalanta) were not aloud to buy tickets and many ppl were disappointed for the lack of informations by media and la Societa' Lazio.

As we told many times CASMS has the power to "close" the gates even one day before the match and , also, they have the right , according to la Lega Calcio, to suspend a game for riots, racist chants, or anything that could be dangeorus for spectators.

At this point let me inform you that:
For Lazio Napoli the decision is: NO FANS FROM NAPOLI. ONLY Season tickets , ONLY resident in rome and Lazio are aloud to buy tickets.
According to the last news there is a chence that Tickets will be sold the DAYmatch also to TOURIST resident outside Italy.

So please be carefull before anyone of you or any tourist is planning to come in Rome for Lazio Napoli.

A question though:

I had some friends travelling to Bergamo to watch Atalanta - Lazio, a game that only residentes of bergamo could attend. Once there though, my friends had no problem getting tickets and entering the stadium (thanks for the help again Conn!). Is it not possible for FOREIGNERS to do the same in Rome if attending this game? My friends who went to the Atalanta game were told that people with foreign passports could attend the game along with the bergamesi. And I have two other friends who are in Rome this weekend hoping to attend the Napoli game...

Sorry if I am out of topic, and I know you addressed the issue already, just need some clarification...do you mean that they MAYBE will be able to get tickets, or that the PROBABLY will be able to get tickets? Or is it impossible to know?

I add some more info to Paolo's post.

On March 10th the Committe of analysis of sport events stated that "only residents in Lazio region will be allowed to buy the tickets" and also that "on the match-day, tickets will be sold to foreigners".

The tickets sale, however, has now been stopped by Rome's Prefect and the situation is "under evaluation". The following things could happen

(a) the CASMS decision is confirmed
(b) the decision is made stricter by not selling tickets for the away end
(c) the tickets sale is limited to Lazio season tickets holders (on behalf of a friend) - it happened last season
(d) the access to the stadium is limited to season tickets holders - it happened two seasons ago

My impression is that, unless the decision is the (d), foreigners will be allowed to buy a ticket on match-day. But of course we need to wait to see what happens.

READ CAREFULLY: go to via Calderini on friday afternoon cause they ( casms) can change decisions every 24 hours!!

Paolo, I'm afraid this one is old stuff. As far as I know the tickets sale is still suspended (I've checked also on the s.s. Lazio website) and a decision by the Prefect is still to be issued.

The decision will be issued today.

Today's newspapers claim that it will be either (c) or (d), but also that even in the latter case there will be no problems for foreigners. But let's wait for the official news.

My personal suggestion as soon as the official permission will be released :
Tomorrow go to Lazio Style.
If the tickets are available for foreigners : buy them
If tickets are on sale ONLY for season holders ask to them to buy ONE for each of you.
the season holder has the priority and his eligible under his responsability to buy one extra ticket.

Shameful/ridiculous decision once again from the "golden couple" CASMS & Prefect. While Lazio fans are not allowed to buy a ticket to follow their team in Rome, about 10,000 asroma fans have been allowed to follow their team away at Bari, where the local ultras have publicly announced that there will be a "welcome committee" to straighten up some old issues with them... Been reading about that as well. Also they were allowed in Livorno while we were'nt allowed in Parma. Bastards. If that isn't discrimination I honestly don't know what is.

Someone said that by the criteria implemented by the CASMS and the Prefect there shouldn't be any riommanisti at the derby like that is going to happen.

Rome's Prefect has made less strict his decision: Lazio season ticket holders will be able to buy two tickets each on behalf of other fans living in the region.
The situation for the foreigners stays the same: they will be allowed to buy the ticket but only on saturday.

After this decision I imagine many Lazio fans will end up by meeting their "tutor" and buying the ticket at the Via Calderini Lazio Style just before the match, so my suggestion to the foreigners Laziali reading this board is to get their ticket on Saturday morning.

This whole circus is just sick. Keeping people away from going to games.
