The cloud of ashes from the vulcano on Iceland is now over Scandinavia and GB!
Many airlines has chosed to cancel all their flights during the day, for exempel NO RYANAIR FLIGHTS GOING FROM AND TO SWEDEN WILL BE IN SERVICE TODAY!

Please, check the news in your country and with your flightcompany if your flight will departure!
For many, this may become a disaster.

From 09:00hrs (local) no further flights will operate to/from the UK.
From 10:00hrs (local) no further flights will operate to/from Ireland.
From 11:30hrs (local) no further flights will operate to/from Norway, Sweden and Denmark.

EDIT2: in Germany the flights are not closed yet. In the afternoon, they will decide. It depends on the weather.

Are you kidding my, VULCANO????? Tomorrow the clouds are supposed to stick around Frankfurt and from Düsseldorf to Rome, you guessed it, you pass Frankfurt. Maybe I will be 24 hours late, but I won't miss this one!!!

Volcanic cloud expected to move SE over most of europe and dissruption is expected to last several days as aircraft and crews are out of position . We are due to fly out tomorrow morning ... not looking good . Totally and utterly pissed off !!

If the clouds are so fast that they are tomorrow at Frankfurt, then it´s possible that the planes are flying tomorrow from Norway and Sweden. Also England............but only when the vulcano stops or he takes it easier.

I just read that last time the vulcano on Iceland had an eruption was in 1821. Then the eruption lasted for a whole year!!! WTF?

Flights in Scandinavia can't be cancelled for that long if it should happen, there must be a solution ffs!
NOW is the time for USA and NASA to try out their super secret weather machine and blow all the fucking ashes away!

An undiscussed possibility is to try to find people in the same country as you and DRIVE down to Rome 5 and 5...
Not an expert on what this means in costs or damage on a car, but it is a possibility if you start driving on saturday!

According to the medias on Iceland the eruption is still going on and is NOT losing any strenght. Let's hope the wind changes then.
An expert says that it might go on for days, weeks or even months, no one knows.
