| Next june 21st will start the second championship of the year: Clausura. Our system of championship is a little freak. Two championships in the year ... We have 20 teams that are divided in 4 groups... first part play all against all ... after that start the play off what is played for 8 teams the first and second of each group. If some team that get the third place had more points that one that got a second place, must play one match, the one that win goes to the play offs. The play off system is: First play against the last qualified. second to the seventh, thitd to the sixth and four with five. Two games, home and away. The first and second of the Apertura -before playoff- get the right to play Southamerican Cup The champion of each championship goes to Copa Libertadores and the third place is for the game that got more points during the year. Theese are the groups. Group 1:A. Italiano Everton Cobresal Huachipato U. Española Group 2O'Higgins U. de Chile Stgo. Morning La Serena Palestino Group 3Colo Colo Cobreloa Antofagasta P. Osorno Melipilla Group 4Ñublense U. Católica Rangers U. de Conce D. Concepción | |

| I think it's a nice interesting system. What's the reason for this grouping? In my league, there was 2 group to cut the spending money for traveling. Eastern has its league, and western has it's league and then they met in big 8 (4 best of the groups)... Btw, I think you must be glad not in a same group with Everton and Rangers, otherwise your club would lost money by traveling to Britain. | |

No shame in that, Turkey are a really good team. Hope Chile can cause a major upset and beat Brazil! | |

| Chile's squad is improving, I'm hoping they reach the WC because I think they will be very entertaining. It's a young squad, come 2010, they could be dangerous... | |
