| I have a question Mafalda. How good is Alexis Sanchez? I have watched him for Udinese quite a bit recently but I didn't see much of him in his Colo Colo days. He looks an excellent player but I thought you would be the one to ask. I really like Isla. | |

Of course!!!! The best chilean players were in Colo Colo's football schools No, seriously yes he was. He is from a very poor family and Colo Colo has a house where live the kids in social risks and those who have not family in Santiago. There live Arturo Vidal and Matías Fernández for example. He is a wonderfull player, I dont why Bielsa didnt call him this time and called Isla (who's very good too) - Caxi wrote:

I really like Isla. In Colo Colo had his best time till now, he has a team that helped him, because he has a problem, is a little bit selfih with the ball and when he was in River Plate, Simeones didnt like much and never supported him much. He has too much to learn yet and need a coach that support him. And yers, Mauricio Isla is very good really

It is just like Assyriska in Sweden, found by Syryoyo immigrants in the biggest exile Syryoyo community Södertälje. Club Deportivo Palestino was found 1920 by Palestinian immigrants in Santiago, were there is a huge Palestinian community. Actually in the current squad there is only one Palestinian, the others are all Chilenos, Gauchos and other Latinos. By the way if anyone cares, Palestino was the youth club of Luis Jimenez.

| The point is that Chile has the biggest palestinian community in the world, they have a Palestinian Stadium where they meet for fun, parties, eat palestinian foods etc ... Beside there is the Palestinian Football Club that is a society owned by rich palestinian families, the coach belong to a palestinian family and Tito Bishara, the rest are not palestinian. Bishara belongs to the Palestinian NT and some months ago he went to play to Palestine, the coach when still played also was in the NT. I like Palestino but ... I hope they loose tomorrow with Colo Colo | |

| Yes it is the biggest community outside of Middle East with 300 000 I think, in Jordan there are almost 3 000 000 Palestinians and they also have a team in highest league called Wehdat (refugeecamp team). In Syria and Lebanon aswell with almost 1/2 million Palestinians in each, they probably also have teams in highest league? Roberto Bishara played a historic game with NT against Jordan (1-1) in November, as it was the very first game actually played in Palestine since the 1940ies. Even way back before that, Santiago and Chile has been giving nourishment to International Palestinian football ever since all rich and wealthy people emigrated Palestine, most of them to Chile and Brazil, and became even more wealthy. That's how all the C.D. Palestino thing started and why they got nicknamed Millionario. Mafalda, I will not excuse myself beeing Palestino fan and wishes the guys strength against Colo Colo to produce goals, but because you will be there to see the game with family & friends, and because you are Laziofan, I will wish you good luck and a magnificant evening. It is a shame your student will miss the game due to red | |
