Part 1: The perfectly moral phone call
What follows is a taped phone calls between the asroma sport director, Daniele Pradè, and the FIGC Deputy president Innocenzo Mazzini. It was made on May 21, 2005, just before the match Atalanta-roma, a crucial match for the giallorossi, fighting to avoid relegation. The match will end 0-1. The referee was Paolo Bertini, one of the "list" of the Designator, then charged for sport fraud.
We are talking about the famous "Calciopoli", that costed Lazio 6 points and a UEFA spot. Despite the several taped calls involving asroma, as the following one, the giallorossi were never touched, not even mentioned, by the media. Completely ignored by the judges.
To the mods: surely it's not the right board for this thread... but I'd keep it here for a full "visibility", for a while.
Mazzini calls Pradè.
Mazzini: “Hey but you don't answer anymore to the phone??? Did you get a big head already you too, after just one victory?” Pradè: “Who talks?” Mazzini: “It's Innocenzo Mazzini. It's your president…” Pradè “Oh my God, how could it be possible that I don't answer your call, are you kidding! After all the things you are doing for us. I didn't hear it ringing Innocenzo... I got... I got it silent..." Mazzini “Tell me, how's it going?” Pradè “Eh, you must give us… You know that I count very much on you ok?” Mazzini “Oh, what can I do more than this?” Pradè “Nothing, tomorrow must pass, and then there is a great future. And bytheway, if tomorrow you pass by I'd love to meet you and talk to you. Mazzini: "Yes, dear love" Pradè:" Also president Sensi. Let's meet” Mazzini: “Yes yes ok... Oh, tomorrow... great eh…” Pradè: "Look, I'm very worried about tomorrow" Mazzini: "I'm very worried too... But those idiots you have in your team have the will to fight, have enthusiasm, or are weak as always?" Pradè: "They are always... we... we won because when Francesco is on the pitch anything can happen..." Mazzini: "I see... but look... they are, they are a team, I saw them in Florence playing a great match..." Pradè: "... you've just raised my anxiety..." Mazzini: "But I've seen that their winger, the young guy, was banned..." Pradè: "Yes, and Natali does not play too" Mazzini: "Good, good, because if this one put the balls in the middle, then also this Natali put the balls in... they are two important players." Pradè: "Yes, yes..." Mazzini: "You'll find a very tense atmosphere, but thanks God you'll be protected a lot because there is a great referee..." Pradè: "How great?" Mazzini: "Really great..." [silence] Pradè: "... ok..." Mazzini:"So... i tell you, determination, focus, running... al things you should have, but I don't know if you do... " Pradè:"I don't have them" Mazzini:"however... keep them united, come on..." Pradè:"ok, thanks Innocenzo" Mazzini: "we'll talk next week, when we will be safe... let's touch balls..." Pradè:"ok! hugs!"

Part 2: Never support other teams (unless you are a roma fan)
1972-73 season. With Lazio (second) fighting with Milan and Juventus (top of the table) for the scudetto, the bianconeri had to play asroma at the last fixture of the season. Strangely enough, this clip shows the asroma fans celebrating Juventus overtaking asroma initial lead. The way Juve score the second goal is hilarious.
But it's all normal... it's not immoral when they celebrate a defeat of their team.

Grazie Conn . Let me just add a touch of "taste" to your translation and remind to our friends that the voice of the goof friend Mr Innocenzo remind someone that we call " a delicate butterfly". This to help all listeners to understand how really good was the "relation" between him and Prade'..Like to old fellas talking about past and present times without ANY fear to be discovered.

Now that Calciopoli II is underway, is this one of the phonecalls that are being investigated? Or am I dreaming?

Part 3: screw Fiorentina to win the "goodness" prize
asoma-Udinese, last fixture of the 1992-93 season. The friuliani needed one point to avoid relegation. They "managed" it, and Fiorentina got relegated.
This is an example of how Roman newspapers reported about the match. LOL
The "goodness" match, as it happened many times and will happen again at the end of Serie A seasons. Nobody dared ask to the giallorossi a greater effort, the focus that other teams (read Brescia and Fiorentina) hoped. So, the last match of the season ended up in a draw, with the fans, expecially the Curva Sud ones, friends with the Friulani for once against the Viola fans, which were instead insulted and derided. If it was right or wrong we cannot say it, but certainly in a sunday that marked the destiny of Fiorentina, the romanisti, generously, preferred to side with the weaker Udinese.
During the whole first half asroma, actually, played a good football but never really went close to the goal, also because even with one point, Desideri and teammates would have gained the tie-break. So it was because, after Haessler goals from the penalty, and after that Carnevale and Rizzitelli missed two great chances, at the end of the match it arrived the equalize from the former asroma Desideri.

Part 4: choose a moral present (Rolex watches to referees it's OK)
In 1999 asroma decided to make a beautiful present to all the referees and their designators (Bergamo and Pairetto). Silver Rolex watches to the referees, golden Rolex watches to Bergamo and Pairetto. Nobody but the referees knew.
After sometime, the newspaper "La Gazzetta" came to know about the incredible episode and published it on the newspaper. The Lega Calcio president Carraro got furious and an enquiry started. The presents were confirmed by the same referees. However, Roman media and influent politicians (asroma fans) backed up Sensi. Despite the magnitude of the scandal the question was silenced and it all ended up with no consequences. Just a present.

Let's see what titty has to say on sportsmanship after tonight.
Indeed Sile...
1) Before the match, on the Olimpico speakers they played asroma hymn, which is forbidden because not asroma, but Lega Calcio, hosted the match
2) During the match, asroma deserved to end up in 7 men. Only a shocking referee saved them.
3) asroma most representative man, ashamed himself with an incredible "frustration" reaction against Balotelli.
4) At the end of the match, invasion on the pitch by some asroma fans, trying to kick Inter players.
5) The night before the match, asroma fans gathered before Inter's hotel to protest and "not make Inter players sleep". The police had to intervene.
Summing up everything, we can honestly say that in just one night, asroma fans, asroma players, most Roman media showed very clear what they are really made of. Merda.

That Totti 'foul' is one of the worst I've ever seen.
Should be at least 5 match ban for that, blatant violence FFS. I hope any ban carries over to league matches also.

by that logic it will be perfectly ok for let's say Diakite to break both his legs in the next derby for showing us thumbs down. Can't wait.
I've been saying this for years to all the people I know, titty is a dirty bitch and finally there is proof no-one can ignore. Bravo you wasted fuck.

All goes back to August 2008 and the Supercoppa when Titty caught Balotelli calling the Rioma fans "shitty Romans"
