On a slightly selfish note, I don't want Zarate to be called up until we have his signature. I don't want the whole world to know his talent just yet...

It is unbelievable to see what a selection of strikers Maradona has to choose from...Higuain, Zarate and Milito, all super goal scorers who are left out due to competition...

hahaha, yeah but with worlwide media today i guess it's a little too late, do you believe any scout for any club could have missed his performances at serie a? they are all there like sharks, but you have a point though, the more publicity- the more $$ involved, and whenever $$ is involved then even more $$$$ gets involved inable to make even even more $$$$$$$

Laziali. I see that this topic is filled up with video articles pics and news about Zarate. I think that all this items could be collected and classify in Zarate main info for a better view and record . For this "job" we need a volunteer ready to dedicate some spare time for this issue and interested to search everyday , with other members help, the news paper articles, pics, video, curiosity. Believe it is an hard job and requires dedication and skill to adjust the page in a pro style. Thanks

CAXI AND KILLER. You both answered to my question and i thanks you. Talk togheter and plan how you think to fix it.
Think about the roster section as it is a small personal website for each player and design it properly to be fixed in a forum topic.
In the first page we will have the main info as it is and then we can create the second one ( first reply) for : Pictures collected during the season The second one( second reply) the Highlights from you tube or any other video hosting.
In this way the first 3 pages will be dedicated to the player and then our comments and opinions. We will delete all members messages , time by time, with pics and you tube linkks only.
If this will fit properly and wil be appreciate by the members we will apply to all players topics.
Hope you understand my point. Thanks for cooperation.
NB please save your work in your HD for future pourposes.-
Erme.

attention members:
Paolo has kindly asked myself and killer89 to collate videos and images of Zarate. This is a difficult enough task but it can be made all the easier with your help.
If you have any nice pics or videos of Zarate in a Lazio shirt, I would appreciate it greatly if you can send them to me via e-mail. My address can be found on my profile here.
We will do our best to find the material ourself but help is always welcomed.
Thanks,
Caxi

Zarate In Madrid To Forget Derby Disappointment Lazio striker Mauro Zarate took a quick trip to Madrid in order to get past the disappointment of losing last weekend's derby to AS Roma...
Lazio were the unlucky side in the Rome derby, falling 1-0 to the Giallorossi, courtesy of Julio Baptista's second-half header.
Lazio striker Mauro Zarate was clearly disappointed at losing his first derby della capitale. According to Calciomercato, the player on-loan from Al-Sadd left the Stadio Olimpico immediately after the match in a bitter mood.
In order to raise his spirits the striker has taken a quick trip to Madrid, hoping to earn some rest and relaxation ahead of the match with Genoa on Sunday.
The player is expected to be back in the Italian capital on Wednesday morning and there are now speculation that he could prolong his spell with the Biancocelesti.
It has been reported by Lazio president Claudio Lotito that the club are very close to finalizing a permanent transfer for the former Birmingham City striker, as they are extremely pleased with his impressive form this season. The Argentine has already notched up seven goals in Serie A so far this term. Adam Scime goal.com

I hate copy-paste post but this doesn't seem right. Anybody smell trouble here. Relax in Madrid, unless he has a girlfriend there it's ok but I don't think so.

Its nothing to worry about. He seems to be fine here and well he doesnt really has a say in the transfer as its already a done deal between Lazio and the Qatar club. Its just a holiday and Madrid is a nice place to go. If he wanted to get a transfer to Madrid, he wouldnt really have to go there, he only needs to go to the media and say it there, most probably pissing Lottito off and he would just not take the option of buying him.

Marca comes with to much bullshit atleast for me to believe them . Anyway we have the buy out opinion so we can buy him out and sell him to a higher price if he wants to leave us for Real, but i still dont think its anything behind the rumor. It's not like everyone who visit Madrid end up playing for ther squad later on...

why should such a nice boy & player replace the 'Horseface' in Madrid ?

ZARATE: "Only This Shirt" Continious alarm bells are ringing in Spain, concerning the news of a possible transfer for Zarate to Real Madrid. But his manager and brother deny all this 'Mauro stays in Rome'.
"Zarate, objective n° 1 for Real Madrid" is the headline in Spanish sportspaper SPORT. The paper also mentions that Real coach Schuster and team mananger Mijatovic have agreed the terms with Zarate.
His brother and manager Sergio Zarate replies : "The Laziali can stay calm about this absurd news. I will repeat again and again that Mauro only thinks about Lazio and to play at his best in this shirt. We've spoken the president already about this, Mauro only thinks about Lazio and his future at the whiteblues." Even Mauro has confirmed his future at Lazio in the tv-show "Carramba che fortuna", where he said 'I stay at Lazio, I like it here and only think about this shirt. And even more I hope that Maradona will call me up one day." President Lotito added that "They are some romanisti joking about this, but I will get Zarate at the end, no doubt about this".
