He is a technically gifted player and suits our play, he is a much better option than Manfredini or even Mauri in my opinion so if he can stay fit he could become extremely useful.

If he was that decent just like Caxi's opinion, then it could be a genius step by Ballardini..... I know I'm too dreamy and optimistic most of the time, and that's no different this time... but I'm really sure if Del Nero keeps playing as a left full back, and good at it, he can be the new Grosso!! a late bloomer who finally finds the suitable position, good at dribbling, tall and have a great body balance...

and should be noted that in Italian NT the left back position hasn't been filled with a decent replacement for Grosso... De Ceglie, Molinaro and Santon still can easily be replaced with any other sudden bloomer player..

ah yes... I forgot about him (criscito), but he's not a permanent member of the italian squad either, not yet.... but anyway, left back position is still available for any player that shines this season

yesterday man of the match! Ran all the time he was on. had his side well covered both parts - attacking and defensive. Hope he keeps it up. That way we can use Kola in the midfield and with his physical power he is more useful there. Great job Simone!

Yeah he really surprised most of us. When I saw him come on the pitch I thought "this is going to end in tears", I mean he hardly ever plays, an he isn't all that physical, he's as skinny as me, but Simone really held up and played a hell of a match. Bravo.

For me he has improved and i mean like real improvements not like baronios did for some people. Keep it up Simone and bounce deadwood like mauri and baronios out of the team because there will be hardly reinforcements in January.

he is a very useful player . he can play as a left winger , left back , attacking midfield + central midfield .. he is similar with brocchi , always running all over the pitch all the time , very very useful for us . keep your spirits up simone !
