| I had the pleasure to meet Mr Delio Rossi 2 days ago in Formello. We spent more ten 20 minutes togheter and he was pleased by a beautiful letter and a small but nice gift from a supporter that requested my help as " carrier"... we spoke for long time as two old friends( we are same age) and i tried to be very straight with him : if you choose to stay with us u must be very sure of the future , if not , go because is better for you and for the team. As i told you in the news topic the Lazio situation is really confused and i want only 100%surepeople around lazio because there are no chances for the future without strategy . I am proud to meet him again and in any case i will always respect Mr Rossi decision and i am thankful to him for his management during the last 3 years. GRAZIE!!!

| Lotito stands by Rossi
Lazio President Claudio Lotito has declared that he is keeping faith with under-fire Coach Delio Rossi.
Having delivered a shock third-placed finish in 2006-07, Rossi was expected to cement the Biancocelesti’s newfound status this term.
However, the Aquile were left languishing in the bottom half of the table and won’t play European football next term.
While there have been persistent rumours that Rossi will be replaced, Lotito insists that he is sticking with the struggling tactician, who is under contract until 2009.
“We met in the week just to go over some technical details, not for any other reason,” the capital club’s chief explained.
“It has been confirmed that Rossi will be on the bench for the start of next season.”
Lotito’s next task is to appoint a new sporting director after the much-maligned Walter Sabatini resigned at the end of the season.
He may also have to halt the exodus of his playing staff with Gaby Mudingayi, Goran Pandev and Valon Behrami all touted to leave within the next month.

Good news, I always respected Rossi, don't really blame him for this season, we should erase it from our minds and hopefully he can lead us to great things in the future! | |

| That is something good that you told him Paolo.
I am glad to have had him in Lazio in the past years, even though I don`t agree with some tactics/substitutions he applied occasionaly. | |

| Well said Paolo!
I have no problems with Rossi...never have. I don't think we can point our finger at him as the main reason we failed this season. His tactics need some refreshing - but so will Mancini's at Inter or Fergie's at United. The main issue is Lotito and solid players at ALL positions. The only solid area Lazio had this season was at forward. Pandev and Rocchi - solid!!! I hope we have Pandev next season. The rest of our positions were chaotic, so... Delio or no Delio...NO coach could save us this season. I don't care if we had Jose...without a solid squad for every match at every position...there's not much a coach can do.
Rossi...come up with some new tactics and inspire the team. That is your job.
Lotito...gives us players that Rossi can coach and that we can have faith and trust in. That is YOUR job. | |

| Ok , lets stay , I dont mind , though I was furious at him couple of times these season to be true. At all I dont think he is our major PROBLEM and how Ermetico said , if they have real intentions to do something serious with the club , let him stay. I am sick of Lotito statements that we are going to do these or that , like the example with Champions League and past season. We was going to defend our 3-rd place without making something to strengthen our squad , which wasnt seriously at all. So its no point of staying , if Lotito dont reinforce the team..... | |

| I'm not either a big fan of Rossi beacuse this seasong went so wrong at the beginning so Rossi had some time to change things but nothing happend. But like one said before, he did a really good job last year so why not give hime a second chance. It's hard to change the team when the presideint is the president but everybody knows what went wrong so, i don't need to say anything. Let's hope for som better future for us.
Lazio per sempre!

| I am willing to give him another chance, as you may all know, I wanted him to leave us for next season, I just feel that we need a new coach, a fresh start, but then again, who are we?
We can't really blame him for last season, although some of his decision/tactics were bad, but hey, he's also human.. | |

| Rossi derserves a lot of credits for what he has done for our Lazio. Remember we finished 6th in his first season when we still had so many problems with finances, players etc. Also the fact that he showed his love for Lazio on several occasians (i.e. the way how he celebrates the goals and especially the last derby).
But at the same time I'm a littlebit afraid that he is coach with an 'expiry date'. When he is at the same club for a long time things are more difficult, realtionships with players are changing etc. So for me it's 50/50, but he has to realise that if Lazio start the new season in a bad way he will be fired sooner than later.... | |

| Please guys, I had posted so many times about Rossi problems, I don't care if Rossi jumped or run like crazy after goal! It is something like the way how Tare celebrate after every goal, does that mean Tare is a great player!
Look to Rossi contradictory statments:
“The renewal? It is not important at the moment, what is important is trust. We have to apologise to our fans, not so much for the results, but for the attitude shown in certain situations,”
“Looking back over my three years in charge, I would say we have improved. We have given many youngsters a chance.”
“A cycle finished today. I want players to feel Laziali and consider the club the centre of their lives.”
“We have to construct a compact group, not on the basis of play-related bonuses, but camaraderie. With the atmosphere that surrounds the squad at the moment, it will not be easy.”
“A broken dressing room? It seems like an exaggeration to me. It is normal that such situations arise in a big squad. I no longer have players like Paolo Di Canio and Angelo Peruzzi, who used to maintain order.”
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wasn't those comments are the same bla bla bla after Juve defeat? if I were him I should focus more on training rather than speaking too much.
As for his comments on Di Canio and Peruzzi, It seems that we should hire a body guards for Rossi! from his words there is alot of tension inside the dressing room and that is so clear, If I am not worng Rossi should show his solid character in the dressing room along with the so called capitan Zauri!?
My first conclusion is that problems are arised from players like Stendardo, Foggia (before), Kolarov, Mudy, Meghni, and even Berni! so if those players come upset with Rossi (in which they have the right in my opnion), then he have to throw them to the bench like the way he did? is this the right approach!
What do you expect from a player that is stuck on the bench and will take his chance only according to Rossi's mood or if his prefered player get injured! in my opnion all of this will generate a depressed player that is prone to Red cards, indiscpline, and heavy defeats like the last year!!!!
Should we get rid of all of those talents for the sake of Rossi's eyes! I would be very curious to see which club would like to get Rossi if he get fired from Lazio!
It is a big mistake that we kept him, because once the players get their foots back to Formello after the summer break they will get their depression relapsed after every single mistake from Rossi or even after every defeat, which I am quite sure Lotito will start to hire a new coach during the season. | |
