not talking about personality but for qualities as a defender, plus Campbel made a pretty good carrier at Arsenal!

He should start playing more, maybe even as a regular. He was unlucky with the own goal but was very good against the two best teams in Serie-A.

I think he is strong physically, which we already knew since the Florentia game a few seasons ago when he managed to keep Luca Toni quiet by dominating him physically.

However, tactically he still looks like an amateur. Questionable positioning and horrible communication. I agree with you Weninho, that playing him against Inter with a skillful striker like Ibrahimovic was a clear mistake, which I still don´t understand the reasoning behind. In my opinion we should loan him out in January. Actually we should have loaned him out a long time ago, because the only way he could develop is by getting first team football. But a big club like Lazio can´t afford to give him that.

But in the current mess, I wouldn´t be surprised if he actually gets to play some games. In that case, let´s hope he prooves me wrong...

so true...too hard of a game to make your first game in serie a this year in...rossi was hoping for the game to end like it did in milan just a few days earlier and he thought he could get that with the exact same back line...didnt work...hope Dia doesnt see the inter game as too much of a failure...he has potential...

The 2 bad things in his own goal, was the strange way how he cleared the ball to go in and above all the timing as it is significantly different to be 1 goal down before the break rather than 2-0, regardless of this incident, I think he had an overall good and solid performance.

Any way, I am still under my prvious statments, he has the potential and I think he needs more time to mature enough! But let us not forget we have Cribari and Siviglia!? Are they superup? We don't know what could happen if they played? Their last year record speaks volume!!

I think we should go for Rozhenal and Diakite once more, and then we could judge more on them.

I think Diakite should start next league game. Ok, perhaps his performance was not top. But I believe it was still better then at least the contribution of Siviglia could have been. I have respect for Siviglia but I believe his is over his top. Diakite can only improve and he so far has done a decent job. Besides this comes his heigt and physical strength. I say let him play.
