I want to see more from Matuzalem to be honest.

Pretty solid first half I suppose... the pool dominating at first but afterwards it was a balance game..

nice defense by Lazio... Lichsteiner seems to be a good purchase

lots of defence at the start, good job there....matuzalem not really friends with the ball, had a few decent chances to create something more than just giving the ball away. Pandev play very wide, interesting formation I think. Prefer having him a little bit more in the middle, but he can really create stuff getting inside from the flank...

What changes could we expect for second?

I'm not happy with the commentators, they seem to think this game is just an exercise for L'pool and from their tone of voice it seems that they're expecting L'pool to win surely, not giving us a chance.

Pandev is doing great, Makinwa is trying but isn't having enough contact with the ball, Lichtsteiner is doing well and so is Siviglia.
These are my impressions, but I joined in later in the 25th minute.

OK passing and defended well in all. Sat back a bit for first 30min and Makinwa and Pandev aren't linking well yet but overall not too bad. Mauri had the best shot. I agree Broencoceleste, Lichsteiner looks quite good to me...
I'd love to see Foggia on but I saw Meghni warming up a bit so I expect him. Tuia and Zarate would be nice!
Note, Lazio section is top left corner, flags are in shot sometimes but the fans are cordoned off by security men and there are, as expected, lots of wasted seats..grrrr... nice chanting as Cash said!

We didn't have clear chances in front so far , at least we managed to be equal after first 15, 20 minutes.

Diakite, who just got in missed an amazing chance.

Zarate had a good shot from left of area, well saved and then Diakite had a free hearder over the bar! He's on for Lichsteiner who looked really good! Mendocino on for Makinwa too and Faraoni on for Radu. Now Tuia on for Siviglia.

Good to see the youth on here, especially Diakite going close up front and a lot of promise in the attack with Zarate & Foggia.

What a bad luck: 1-0 for the host team.

We lost a ball in the midfield than some clumsy defending.


Damn, we managed to equalize but it was offside.
