I am using NOD 32 as a basic program ,it is running all the time, because as Viper said its using minimum RAM.
But I have a portable package with Avast, Kaspersky, Avastcleaner , Spybot and many more(if you don't know what is this, many programs who don't require to be installed in your PC, but you can use them whenever you want to.) I check my computer with them every week, so basically I am using all of them.

Look, there is not perfect anti virus , but if you have Firewall and if you search your PC regularly with some of those programs, everything should be ok.
Of course you should avoid places like porno sites, free download sites with multitude advertisements or Flash sites....

My advice is stay away from free antivirus programs. I use Norton. If you have more than one antivirus they can get tangled with each other and just slow your computer completely. Norton slows the computer quite a bit, but I never caught a virus while using it.

I know Norton, it was my first anti virus, it is leaking a lot and it is very very heavy.
The best is portable programs. Because you can start and close them at any time you want without tangling each other or burden the PC unduly.
But you are right about free products. You have to find something with serial number or crack Amir

Also Amir, only download one. Just the one Antivirus will make the computer so slow and heavy. Do a bit of research, try and find one that is not heavy, that's reliable and one that actually works well and when you find it, tell us all

After many suggestions to go for NOD32, I found a good version, installed it, updated it and now I will wait and see.

That sounds cool Nany.... Kylie Minogue is coming to NZ in December this year but have not heard anything about Madonna coming and I am sure I would have if its at the Vector Arena here in Auckland because I work there

Apparently Metallica will come down under to NZ next year so am waiting for an official announcement so I can get some tickets would be insane if they actually come here!

And today Michael Bolton is doing a concert .. my daughter had to interview him yesterday she didnt know him, when i said is the one that sing When a man love a woman ... she realized who was the one that she will interview

I have uni starting again in like an hour an a half.... we just had a 2 week break halfway through semester 2.... I doubt I will get to check in here as much but will try
