Fucking great game ... defense attacking it all was looking like child play for us ! FORZA LAZIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great game and a beautiful victory. We absolutely outplayed them. The whole team played very well. Viola didn't have any real chance to score (credit to our defenders). I feel sorry for Zarate. He played an outstanding game, was really fired up, never stopped running.. but couldn't score. Hope on sunday he'll get two And I want to disagree with people, who are saying that Mauri was invisible today and didn't touch a ball in the first half. In my opinion, he had really good game. Both our wingers worked well today, created chances (i think we had around 10 chances to score)

Btw, Frey is a legend. It's always hard to score against him for our strikers (both games from last season he was unbeatable against us) and I started to fear that we won't be able to beat him.

Could've been easily 8-0, 9-0.
Zarate can basically do whatever he wants, too bad he didn't score, even thou he had maybe a dozen chances.
Our defenders owned strong-on-the-paper viola offense, the few times they tried something. Continuous Lazio attacks thru the whole match.
How great it's to see Foggia too. Not much more to say. A Great night.

Yes, i agree Mauri had first good game since god knows when....it would be great if he bring back his old form.

What a perfect game! There really isn't much to say. Poor Zarate, so unlucky, but at least the others scored when he couldn't and that's good.

A Great Win all over the line ... from Carrizo to Cribari to Foggia to Zarate to Pandev to ... the rest.
Viola created 0 chances, only from standard situations there was some cautious danger.
Our boys just thrashed Viola, and that resulted in a 3 goal mayhem in 15 min... while it could have been 5 in 15 min after the break.
Sad for Zarate not to score, but the kid is still young and eager to play out for himself and the team.
It's nice to look down and see the other 18 teams below

We totally outplayed them, it was inevitable for them to compete with our attacking force.
What can I say about Pandev and Zarate , they are the strongest attacking duo in Serie A , just brilliant , I dont want to think what is going to be with Rocchi...
The best match for us till now, good for Mauri that he scored , he seemed really elated tonight.
Foggia was very dangerous and gave 100 %, despite that he wasted many balls....
Great defence, I cant remember one clear chance for Viola!

Solid performances for Lazio, totally outplayed em, we kept the ball well, didn't give em too much space, not many mistakes..

One little note, Zarate should have kept his composure in front of goal, it didn't matter since we won 3 goals, but he wasted so many chances, especially on the 1st half.. Overall, He did play well, lots of dribbling..

I am delighted with the result.. Pandev, what a player!!! Foggia, 2 assists, Radu, Cribari, Mauri, I lost words for these players, they were all playing superb football..

Brilliant, utterly brilliant. I am so proud of our players. I can't recall the last time our defence was troubled so little let alone against a strong team - and this defence was combined with magnificent attack. If Zarate had his scoring boots on, it could have easily been 5-0. But I really love the way he seems so frustrated when he misses a chances, he really is hungry for goals and has a knack of getting into good positions to score.
Not much to say about best players as everyone played so well but Radu really made our defence a lot better than in the last game, an effect helped by the good ol' Siviglia-Cribari partnership. Lichtsteiner and Brocchi gave no chance at all to Mutu and Vargas, players who cost like ten times more than them.
In attack, we were just too quick and skillful, plus Daineli is simply a liability which we exploited so many times. Pandev is getting better with every passing game, give him a new contract now, please. His run from our half and through ball to Zarate in the beginning of the second half exemplified how he has become so good coming from deep, too.

The only "disappointment" - we couldn't evaluate Carrizo further as he had only one save to make and it was from a weak long shot which I would have saved.


P.S. I told you the Milan game wasn't such a disaster as some described it.

Carrizo 7: Didn't really have a lot to do but he got a clean sheet
Radu 7: Was strong made a few decent tackles. Much better at defence than Kolarov
Lichtsteiner: 8 One of my players of the match. Was constantly running forward to help out in attack. Dribbled past a few oppents as well.
Siviglia 8: Strong performance made a few crucial tackles. Scored a goal. But did make a few miss kicks.
Cribari 7 : A good defensive performance
Brocchi 8: His battling qualities were shown tonight. Made some crunching tackles.
Ledesma 7: Passed the ball well, rarely gave the ball away and started a few attacks
Mauri 8 : Best game I've seen him play in a while. Made a crucial header away from a fiorentina corner. I would much rather see him play in the midfield three than as the trequartista.
Foggia 7: Caused lots of havoc with his pacey dribbles. Maybe over did it at times.
Pandev 8: Scored a good goal. He can dribble the ball so well, its like its glued to his feet. In tight situations he always comes away with the ball.
Zarate 9: We have a very special footballer. He could have scored 5 goals today easily, it just was one of those days when it never goes in the net

That's a hell of a response from the weekend. You guys said it, absolutely great side in our colors tonight. Given I only saw from 30mins on, but it was great to see us creating so many chances. I haven't seen us hold possession and pass like that in quite some time. Yes, Fiorentina did not look to be at their best, but what's important is that we capitalized. I was worried with Cribari & Siviglia anchoring down our backline, but attack was the best form of defense, thanks to Lichtsteiner. Attack looked organized and the midfield actually looked to be involved, even Mauri. Special team it looks like we've got here. Forza Lazio! Can't wait for the next match.

Rocchi can play with Pandev and Zarate guys. Delio just has to move Foggia to the wing.
