Casillas. He has saved Madrid's ass over and over again over the last few seasons and kept them in the race. Without him they would be a much, much weaker side fighting to get into the Uefa Cup.

Julio Cesar. A very good keeper and he too has saved Inter several times this season. Should be Brazil's #1 without a doubt and not Donimerda (who was a few months ago). Has pulled off some incredible saves.

Frey. Over the last few seasons has become a top class keeper and should be France's #1. I remember him since his Parma days and I said to myself, "this guy is going to be one of the world's best some day", and he certainly is.

At present, I would agree with this, Casillas has been dire this season and Cech has lost his bottle.

@ Bridge-Bhoy: would have put Given in the Top 5 a while back but he dips in and out of form. Brad Friedel is the Premier League's best.

yeah, Cech has fallen in quality quite dramatically this season. Maybe in honesty there is arguement for Cesar to be number one, its a close call.

Nope.

The best in the world I think has to be Gianluigi Buffon. He is the best and has been the best for some time now. He will break the Azzurri cap record that Cannavaro has at the moment.

I'm pretty keen on Julio Cesar, too. If I were to bet on a clean sheet, I'd go with him at the moment.

2) Casillas
3) Buffon

Firstly I have to say I think Iker is best at the moment, and also that I'm a bit dissapointed to not be able to mention Carizzo had great expectations on him before last season No
Then I also wonder about Oswaldo Sanchez haven't heard a word on him for a couple of years, how is his standard nowdays? Remember he was a little of a favorite of mine when I was younger bounce

Itīs really hard to say.

I have seen Iker save Reals ass soooo many times I stopped keeping scores. Buffon was better a couple of years ago. Van Der Sar is really solid and J Cesar was Serie A:s best goalie last season.

Sanchez fell off the map with an injury and with Ochoa coming up as a young star, was replaced on the nat'l team.
