| Too bad for Zarate's goal. The ball clearly crossed he line and the linesman should have seen it. Luckily this game was not of great importance to us.
Dabo is in great form. Against Sampdoria and today he was always in the right place, breaking up attacks, closing down the opposition and making accurate passes.
Great to see some young Laziali getting their chance.

| From that angle, it doesn't look fully over but I have no doubt that it probably was. I think that angle makes it look better than it was.
On the performance, why are people complaining? We were resting key players, giving some young guns a shot like people asked, Palermo are a good side with a better home record than Juventus. A loss was probable, even with our best team on good form.
We gained a few things from this so I'm satisfied. Mendicino doesn't look ready but the experience will help and without doubt, Perpetuini's chance will do him a lot of good.

| Didn't see this match (I was at Wembley watching my local team Cambridge United go down 2-0 to Torquay in the Conference play off final ) but the fact that Mendicino and Perpetuini played was useful. Like Caxi said, we were unlikely to beat Palermo away as they had won 13 and only lost 4, the main thing I find gruelling now looking at the table is that we have lost as many games as bottom of the table Lecce. However you wrap things up, that is pretty abysmal. The Coppa meant everything and I wasn't expecting much from this game, just makes it feel bad when the losses column keeps increasing and you think about all the stupid losses from earlier in the season. There are still the same questions that need answering this summer concerning defensive players at our disposal and the fact we let in so many goals like last year.... | |

| Zarate's goal should have stood. Ridiculous. Even the penalty given to Palermo was questionable. From the angle I saw Miccoli falling over, I don't think it was Kolarov's fault. He tugged him but I don't think it was enough for a penalty. Questionable refereeing. Thankfully this game did not mean much to Lazio. If it was earlier on in the season I would have been really pissed. I didn't expect much from this game - like most of us. The performance was alright. Not that bad. Good to see Mendicino given a start next to Rocchi and later on Perpetuini given a run. Dabo played well again. Carrizo was average. Not very impressive actually. Mauri was nowhere to be seen though. Look on the bright side. Palermo are closer to 6th place now.... FORZA LAZIO!!!!! | |

| We might be in Europe next season, but it's def. not due to the style of play we have been playing over the season in Serie A. Another disappointing result and while the ref was rubbish...it's still hard to look at the standings and see where we are after our positive start. Such a shame. Hopefully, we can finish out the season with a win and not more crappy losses. | |

Ffs, what kind of fan are you? Firstly, you're making fun of a derby win and secondly, we are not in 15th place. Talk about being melodramatic... I love reading the different opinions but I hat lies and bullcrap. Back to the topic guys.

| Some of you guys are so pathetic with your comments. Day in and day out, post in and post out, you are making a fool of yourself and truly showing your low level of reasoning and your lack of analytical skills. A true shame that you sit behind your computer screens and are sooooo cool.
Happy there is still a majority with some brains and a humble attitude.
As I said earlier, this game didnt really mean anything when it comes to the result. Finishing 8th, 10th or 12th doesnt make any difference. The goal was to reach Europe, and so we did - includng getting a trophy! As I see it, the remaining games is the perfect time to test our youngsters, just as Rossi did yesterday. We should try to use as many as possible, but not being stupid and only field primavera players but rather mix them in smoothly with some starters and some squad players. Against Reggina will be another perfect game for doing this. I once again expect one or two primavera starters, and one or two coming in as subs...

| The game against Palermo was in many respects a useful exercise. Great to Mendicino get some decent playing time, thought he showed a few nice touches. Good for him to play alongside Rocchi, im sure he learnt something from that experience. Pretty sure the ball crossed the line on that Zarate effort though, only for that Romanista Amelia to nudge it forward a bit. Personally, although it makes no difference anymore, I would like to see us finish in the top half of the table. Against Reggina maybe Kozak will get the chance to play alongside Zarate, as no doubt he will learn greatly from that. Would be a good opportunity to play Tuia perhaps, but Diakite must play again. I feel this player has a big future ahead of him, he needs games though and what better time than now to benefit him for next season. | |
