Pre-season friendlies

Just wondering about the schedule for any friendly matches this year so I thought I'd see if any of you in the know have an idea of any yet? Of course, I'm really just praying for a well organised friendly in the UK again it seems that some Italian teams have games against PL clubs already..

I don't know it all but right after the Inter game supercopa we have team presentation on August 13, Lazio - Osasuna friendly match.

In July there will be some friendlies at Auronzo.....

12/07 - vs Auronzo
18/07 - vs Universitatea Craiova
22/07 - vs Spal
26/07 - vs Triestina

Also on the 8th of July the new Lazio kits for season 2009/10 will be unveiled.... can not wait for those bad boys....

is the 18/7 game played in Auronzos training gamp or somewhere else? I maybe will be still in Italy at that time.

I assume so, judging from the link I provided looks that way. Its an Auronzo Representative team. The friendly against Romanian side Universitatea Craiova will be played in Austria at the pre-season training camp, if that's any indication?

It sure is I think i will land Auronzo on 16. of July...so maybe i will be lucky and i will see one of the training sessions there...then i will move on to Rome to buy some Lazio stuff. Tnx Bob

last summer we have very strong friendly games,this year i dont see something special

I definitely agree phantomm, it would be good to play some decent teams again, rather than just the provincial sides who we beat 12-0 etc.

Liverpool was a great test for us last year. We need those types of games ahead of a Europa League Campaign.

Hopefully we can line up a few more, but unlike previous year's, we have Europa League Qualifiers, Mid August and a SuperCoppa, probably explianing the lack of big name friendley's just yet.

The mathes in the fourth qualifiyng round for the euro leaugue are set at the 20th and the 27th of August. Is it confirmed that we play the first match away and the second at home?!

the draw of this is the day before Lazio v Inter, so 07/08

I love the bits about the shirts! Poor Foggia needs a smaller one, it always seems players have XL whatever size they are, not our Foggia! Radu in central defence is what lots of us wanted to see last pre-season, bad news is that it is with "Seville" and not Stendardo or Rozenhal.
