It's where our youngsters play, it's called Primavera. Under 21's i think.

it is the Italian youth competition. where future Lazio and Italian stars Alessandro Tuia and Jacopo Sciamanna play.

a very important competiton. no shame in being behind Ascoli as they have one of Italy's strongest primavera teams this year and will challenge Inter and Juve for the title.

Mario Balotelli also plays in this comp

I remember also Marco Faraoni, a 16 year-old defender was called up for the Italia u-17 team.

Sadly, no one from our primavera was called up for Italy U-19 team which played 3 qualification matches. Italy qualified to the final tournament. I hope than Tuia will be on the list. I dont understand how could the manager to leave such a defender like Tuia. He was a rock in our squad and scored goals as well

Faraoni, Tuia and Mancini are very good I think.

For those of you who watch Football Superstars on Foxtel, one of the contestant, Rhys Giovanelli trialled with S.S. Lazio in 2006-2007 season, he didn't make it there (but his reason was home sick), he went back home (Australia) and join the competition..

He managed to be in the top 15, but got send home last week

Nah, I don't, all I know he's from Sydney, and he has Italian background in him, but seeing him on yv, he isn't as good as others, I reckon either Callum or Evan will win it

In the 1st game of the 08-09 Primavera Campionato, we beat Bari 3-0 at Formello. Goals came from Sciamanna, Mendicino and Mancini.
