Our Primavera won 2-7 at bottom of the table Ancona to finish the league in style.

Goalscorers for Lazio were: Tamalio (2), Luciani, Ricci, Cinelli, Di Mario, De Domincis

Lazio have now won the Girone C with 57 points, 9 points ahead of Roma and Palermo. 57 points is a new total point record for Lazio, beating the old record of 55 points reached in the season 2001/2002. Winning the league means Lazio qualify to the playoffs for the Italian Primavera Scudetto, also called "Giacinto Facchetti", named after the Inter legend.

Hopefully Rossi recognises this and gives some of the boys a game in Serie A before the end of the season!

I'm hoping for that as well, they certainly deserve it. Well done, lads!

If we win Coppa, Rossi need to get some of the most promising players from primavera some playing time, but as we know our Delio best, he'll rather play with Manfredini, Del Neri or Mauri.

16th of may 1st leg at home against Albinoleffe
23rd of may 2nd leg away.

Today it was the return leg of the Albinoleffe game. This time in Rome at Formello.

Again we won and are now through to the final eight of the Italian Championship

S.S Lazio - Albinoleffe 2-1

Kozak and Sciamanna were the goalscorers for Lazio.

According to reports our best players were Vincent Degre in goal, Marco Davide Faraoni on the right back, Alessandro Tuia in central defence, Manuel Ricci in the offensive midfield and Libor Kozak who scored our first goal and set up Jacopo Sciamanna for our second in the dying seconds of the game...

Will be interesting to see Ravanelli in that role. He was a great player and was always one of my favorites.
