No matter how poor his skills are (seriously, he is not a very good footballer), he seems to be there when needed. I really dont like Cruz, but of course I hope he will be a massive success for us. Hopefully he will get around 15 goals...

C'mon, Cruz is skillfull enough, he's not that fast but he can hold the ball really well, even better than Bianchi or Crespo....

I'm really sure that he can be the missing link that we missed for a long time..

Well, I have never seen Cruz show his skills, but as I said earlier - he knows where to be when the ball comes close to the goal, and he can probably help us quite a bit this year. He showed that yesterday...

Julio Cruz will be the thorn in many people's sides.

Like Hubner, Signori, Chiesa etc. he is the guy who, even at this late stage in his career will be scoring week in week out breaking the hearts of many teams and many fan bases.

Chievo was just the first of many occasions that I expect him to single-handedly find the winning goals. He can score with his eyes closed; he knows where the ball is and he knows where net is.

A great, great signing.

Leathal in the box, and thats what in essence we need. With Zarate providing the assist, as he did against Chievo, Cruz has the capablility to finish well under pressure. It was a great signing, and not just because he has been a quality player throughout his career, but because like the guys Caxi mentioned he is hungary for more success. When you put quality and ambition toghether, rarely are you left disappointed.

Cruz seriously considered retirement from football after the Inter game. Apparently this is down to a back injury that makes playing difficult for him.

Pretty serious stuff.

Yesterday i spoke to him. ( as reported on Corriere dello sport).
I asked him:

How are you?
I am ok

Are you leaving?

I am not leaving and i am not looking for retirement . I don't understand why in this city the newspaper wrote so many news!
