| The representative of Lazio pair Sebastiano Siviglia and Roberto Baronio has revealed his clients would be happy to commit to new long-term deals, but admitted the latter is frustrated with his lack of playing time under new boss Edoardo Reja.
Defender Siviglia netted a spectacular back-heel goal in Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Fiorentina, but midfielder Baronio was again left out of the squad.
“Siviglia has great experience and charisma,” agent Federico Pastorello told Il Corriere dello Sport.
“He wants to end his career at Lazio. We have already talked to the club and we will talk again in April," he said before turning his focus to Baronio.
“He was a regular under [Davide] Ballardini and often wore the captain’s armand.
“Now he is not even being called up. He had options to leave in January, but Lazio refused to release him.
“Roberto has proved he can still give a lot and if Lazio want to keep him, he would be happy to stay. We’ll see over the coming weeks.” ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Of course they want longer and more lucrative contracts, why wouldn't they...
If we want to move on then these players must be thanked for their service (?!? maybe) and let go (along with 5 or 6 more) - where is the sense in keeping either on longer, more expensive contracts? Baronio must have known he was only playing under Balla because of the Ledesma situation and Siviglia must realise he is not first choice now.
I know agents have to big up their clients but really...

| We are not really in a situation were we can reward players for being loyal. We need to cut down our squad asap!
Siviglia - 37 years old! With 5 other defenders (6 when Cribari is back...) we should just force him to retire. Also Tuia will be 20 soon, if he is half of what people expect he should also get some matches next season.
Baronio - Honestly he wouldn't be a bad squad player imo. He is better then Firmani but since his contract is expiring and it's impossible to get deadwood out of the team we should get rid of him.

| Baronio is an adequate back-up for any regista that gets injured. A one-year deal could do us absolutely no harm, especially if we cut his pay. | |

| It all depends how good will the business run in Poland for MakPizza. When badly then baronios and siviglias can extend their deals with Lazio. If i had the money i would send mauris, baronois, siviglias, manfres and makinwas to the Moon. There they can really say we are the best soccer players on the Moon. | |

| Fucking hard LOL.
Its hillarious !!!..,, a loyal player get hated, but the not loyal one get love.
Please give him a new contract, & we will get very good depth bench. ( but i pretty sure he is good enough to compete starting lineup in every team @ Serie A )
*sigh | |

| After all I really want to thank Baronio for his time at Lazio. Despite the fact that he is maybe the most loaned out player of all time, he still has shown loyalty to Lazio staying here for almost 15 years and becoming one of the captains. I remember the time (2000 - 2001) when he was pronaunced as some of the biggest talents of Italian football (I think together with Pirlo and Dalla Bona), and ending like this is really makes tousands of questions why he didnt fulfiled his obvious huge potential.
Maybe we could keep him at the staff when he ends his career, after all I suppose that he can learn the kids how NOT to do.

| Is he really out for good? I dont wanna say anything but...in my opinion hes just like the others....a real deadwooder....i dont care about "playing with heart stuff" If you can play good then play good. But he doesent....just like firmani... Anyway if barionios has left then GoodBye. And as i have heard 2 deadwooders have already been installed....great lotidiot. And why to have him in the stuff when the likes like Di Canio and Peruzzi want to keep themselves as far they can from Lazio. With lotidiot nobody BUT deadwooers would like to earn 500-1.5 million euros for beaing a clown. | |

| Pictured in training.
As I said, to not be given an outing in a meaningless match after 15 years of service would just be weird. I think he was always set for a new deal but who knows.
