Big match before the Holiday break. A win would really do us a lot of good...so much more than a draw. There are a few other key matches that if we win and we have some luck, we can pop back up into a decent European spot. Won't be easy, but is anything EVER easy in Serie A? Of course not!!!

Napoli (30) plays @ Torino, maybe we can hope for a draw here. Torino will put up a fight, I hope!

Milan (30) plays Udinese

Viola (29) play Samp, again, maybe we hope for a draw or a Samp (19) win!!!

Genoa (26) play Chievo (9), so we're going to have to assume Genoa take the 3.

Atalanta (24) play Juventus, go Juventus (though it pains me to say that).

Rioma (23) play Catania (22).

are you still masterminding a swoop for the top-4 seat? not for now, at least.

Funny thing is that last season also had us facing palermo the last game before the xmas break. Ended 2-2 if I am not wrong, with tare scoring...? Another funny thing is that I sat in a flight going to Canada a day before the game, and I will do the same this year again. Only, last year I missed the game since I got held in fuckin US for a few days thanks to homeland security (believe me, I am never going through US again...), this time I hope I will be jet-laging infront of the computer watching the game rather than sitting in a cell answering stupid questions by some stupid, uneducated american asshole...

Three points is a must. We cant afford losing to teams thar are level with us. We can beat Palermo...if we only come out as a strong unite!

I'm not talking about the CL, but I am talking about winning this week and getting back on track for the Uefa Cup. I understand the one game at a time bit. I also don't believe in the false hope bullsh*t that a lot of people were talking about when we were in first place (Scudetto - please). I'm a mix between a realist and optimist. Optimism tells me we HAVE to have goals (Uefa right now) and the realist tells me we need to just beat F'ing Palermo. One game a time, but they all lead some where!

Very true...I think it all depends on how Liverani plays on his return.It will be interesting to see how he has developed his game.
I also rate Simplicio...if we can keep both of them quiet & defend against the set pieces of Miccoli,we should be ok.
It is a big 'if' though.
Palermo have also had some awful refereeing decisions against them this season.I hope this continues...

it's simply because they have not yet played at stadio olimpico this season.

I feel confident. It's at home. The fact we came from 3 goals down to draw will boost the team's confidence.

seriously something needs to be done though to fire up the side. Get them playing from the first minute.

before the game maybe show them highlights of past Lazio sides, 1974, the stagione of the -9, the Cragnotti era, the 3-1 Di Canio derby, the 3-0 derby and the Behrami winner last year and some footage of Curva Nord as well.

if that doesn't inspire them, they shouldn't play for Lazio

I hope we will beat Palermo. It doesn't matter with what squad and tactic we will be. We just have to win.
