Had a good derby I thought. Strong, solid and decisive for a majority of the match. Stood up well to Tottina.

yes him and radu are starting to click , it wont be long until sivilgia and cribari are benched permanently.

I agree, Stendardo provides that physical strength in our defense which neither Sivilgia nor Radu can.

Since his return ive liked what ive seen from him, sured up the backline a lot.

I don´t know about you guys but wow he´s 100% Laziale. Always blocking shots and playing like it was his last game ever.

I love the guy and he loves Lazio, rather 11 players with lazio hearts in Serie B than 11 players with no heart in Serie A.

Another interesting point to note is his good relationship with Reja. Stenny is a notorious troublemaker and a feisty character but if you take a close look at how he conducts himself with Edy, you can clearly see they have the utmost respect for each other. Two firecrackers who somehow hit it off.

He is one of the most consistent centre-backs in A. Seriously, I struggle to recall his last serious mistake in our colours.

Hmm. I can remember the Viola game but not his error in Bergamo, could you maybe link it ?

Trying to remember the Viola one...I think for Atalanta, he means the first goal back in January where he lost his man in a free and ended up on his arse.

Big fan of Stendardo. I've liked him since his first Lazio match a few seasons ago.

Favourite Lazio player along with Foggia and Firmani.

I knew reinstating him would be a very good idea and thankfully Lotito the douche realised this (eventually) and did it. It has proven to be a good call. Always giving 100% for the team, always fighting, committed and leading the back line well with Radu. Unbelievably glad to have him back playing consistently. The only real mistake I can think of was in the dreadful Atalanta match in January. Apart from that Guglielmo has produced solid displays every week. Grazie!

also he leave his brain in dresing room(his dark side,but nobody s perfect),little joke(with some truth )
i m hoping that until the end of the seasson he will fixed his mistakes and for the next one he will be great CD,who can also lead the defense

I don't think we can really blame toni cause he kicked the ball firstly and not to mention Sten's head was really low. Hope he can wear a mask!

That injury is much worse than I initially thought it was. This is a big blow for both Stendardo and Lazio. IMO he is our most solid and consistent defender and to have lost him 5 minutes into the derby, and now potentially the last few games of the season is a massive loss.

You can't really blame Toni for what happened either. He was trying to bring the ball down and Stendardo was doing his defensive job by trying to head it back to Muslera. Unfortunately his face got on the receiving end of Toni's boot.

I remember a few seasons ago when we lost 1-0 to Fiorentina and Toni scored the winner back then, the goal involved a similar scenario where he stuck his foot up high to knock the ball in, and hit Stendardo on the head whilst he was trying to head it away.
