| As Caxi pointed out, 7 points from 12? Would most certianly have taken that.
But we have to be looking for the 3 points against a very good Parma team on Wednesday.
Good to see Cruz proving his worth after a less than impressive outing against Inter.
Catania is a tough place to go, so a point from a goal down is not the end of the world.

| We simply lack the depth to play well when our schedule is packed with two games per week. The teamwork is lacking too, Zarate tried to dribble the entire Catania defence just about any time he got the ball, it was borderline farcical at times. We need Ledesma back because Baronio just cannot defend well and our defence is ridiculously vulnerable without proper DM cover. | |

| To be honest, Catania had so many good chances I happy with the point. Despite their low standing in the table, there not a bad team. We've lost on our last two visits here, and at times we played well today. Lich, Kolarov, Foggia and Zarate showed some good touches, Muslera was solid and Matuzalem looked solid probably because Foggia was the creator from midfield. Cruz did his part, got a goal. I agree though, we need more defensive cover I feel. But, if we win against Parma, that'l be ten points from five games. Not a bad start at all.
Again though, Foggia showed why he should be a starter. When he puts it together, he can tear a defence to shreds.

| This game was very disapointing it showed all of our weaknesses which are mentally and our defence which is non existant. We started brightly and had the best chances with Zarate wasting a very good opportuninty. After the 10th minute we started struggling and Catania took over, our midfield had alot of problems dealing with catania since our players are very slow and not good at defending Mauri disapeared and lost possesion whenever he had the ball, Baronio had some decent moments but he cant protect the back 4, Matuzalem was trying but there was no structure in our team and found it impossible to start something. I barely could understand what Balla had in mind playing Zarate as a lone striker a guy who will try to dribble everyone alone was always marked by 2 or more guys since there was no one else to mark. Meghni was lost he was drifting to the centre way too much leaving the left hand side of the midfield exposed, Kolarov was trying to take over the whole left wing.. but that is impossible and hence we were getting caught very easy Martinez was very fast and whenever Kolarov wasnt there he caused problems since Siviglia couldnt cover for Kolarov. It seems as if Balla told our full backs to attack whenever possible but who's going to cover for them when we have no defensive midfielder and our full backs are dead slow. The only guy who I beleive made a decent match was only Foggia altough he offers nothing defensively he's excellent with the ball much more effective than Zarate. He made the goal and he was the only player who succeeded in doing something. Cruz wasted alot of chances but at least he finished a chance that every striker should score.
Things needs to change fast or in a couple of months we'll be fighting for relegation we cant play any more matches like this, most of the teams in serie A would have scored 4 goals against us today.

| I'm pretty satisfied with a point. Even though Catania are currently bottom of the league, they have a good squad and at home they are a totally different side. Considering Lazio's performance (and the lack of defense today) was not the greatest, I am content with a point.
The midweek Parma match coming up at the Olimpico is a must win however, but again it won't be easy. They had a solid 1-0 win over Palermo today.

| clearly the effect of losing against red bull was evident. It wasn't much of a 'reaction' as far as I am concerned. | |

| One point is sure we cant afford any silly mistakes, if Rocchi is not ready Cruz must start even if instead of Zarate we need a finisher and Cruz better be more prolific infront of goal since he's been making childish mistakes. | |

| 1 point is better then nothing. I agree that considering catania's home form, this al not that bad of a result. Returning to the winnings ways is however a must, considering the upcoming games, for which we need all the confidence possible | |
