| Germany Australia Ghana Serbia
What a f@#king group!
I'm confident against Ghana, we beat them not long ago, but in their home continent, it may be a bit tougher. The Serbs, you dont really know who your getting. Lazy one day, world beaters the next. Lets hope we get them on an off day. Germany, surprisingly enough, i'm pretty confident. They play a regimental style of football that suits us, no flair, no trimmings. but none the less, quality side.
Of course, the English & Italians might as well get a "free pass" to the second round with thier groups. Do they really even need to play those games?

| Group A will be hard to predict. For me there are all to level. I hope so much that they forbid those bloody horns. | |

- Initial thoughts on the draw.
- tough draw for all sides in Group A - nice group for Argentina, the other three would fancy their chances, I'd expect Greece to edge through. - Nice group for England, Algeria should fancy second; the US and Slovenia are incredibly poor sides. - Germany could struggle, Serbs need to develop the right mentality to progress, Ghana and Australia are obvious threats. - The Dutch have it easy, I don't rate the other three sides whatsoever. - Sad that Paraguay and Slovakia will face Italy as that means one of my favourite National sides will go out. I'd be slightly worried if I was Italian. - Tough for Brazil, Portugal can take them if they rediscover old form and if the Ivory Coast play tight, you never know. Brazil don't have anybody who can make the impact C. Ronaldo or Drogba can. Still expect them to go through but not easily. - Spain and Chile should progress, I reckon the battle for top spot will be tougher than many think. I have to disagree with you on the Danish group... I think Denmark is the strongest in the group!

| Don't rate Cameroon, Japan & Denmark?
All 3 are extremley good sides in their own right.
In fact i will go as far as saying Holland will not win that group.

- Slovakia are pretty good. Greece would be the team everyone should hope for in pot 4, as well as Slovenia, but they have my respect after what they did to Russia. Algeria will suprise a few people also.
Pretty good relative to Netherlands and Portugal? I do not think so. If Italy faced Slovakia at the World Cup I expect Italy to beat them and so would most Azzurri fans. Same for Chile and North Korea but also for them revenge comes to mind.
If Algeria does not get over-awed then they will be a suprise. I hope so. Well, maybe it could be expected but since it's the last match of the group we could be already qualified for the knockout stages so I'm pretty much OK with this expectation. Here in our country everybody is satisfied with the draw from coaches to players and some football legends. I say don't get too excited because it's the first major tournament for us. btw, not a bad group for Slovenia, you deserved to be there, I was happy that you overcame Russians in playoff Alan Shearer's opinion on Italy's group: "That is as good as a bye for Italy isn't it?" I am extremely happy with the group. I do not think any of the teams there will be a major threat to us as long as we prepere properly with humility. I think complecency would be our biggest worry. In short it is up to us. I am not excited because I expect us to be at the minimum in the quater finals so the group stage is not a stage of going out no matter who we came up against. Seeing this group I have no reason to change my mind.

In fact i will go as far as saying Holland will not win that group. Hope not. Since in all likeliness we will face the second place team in that group. We will do our job and the Dutch should do their job and everything will be much easier.

In fact i will go as far as saying Holland will not win that group. I think Denmark will sneak a place and I wouldn't underestimate them but in all honesty, the Dutch should walk out of that group. Let's face it, Denmark beat a terrible Portuguese side, one of the poorest Swedish sides ever and a Hungarian side that haven't been in a major International tournament in a long time. Japan are decent but that's the only adjective I can find for them. When I think of Cameroon, I think of Sammy Eto'o. Takes me quite a while to remember anybody else in that side which sums it up. Nowhere near the standard of the 2002 side who failed to make it out of the groups.

| Cameroon are more than just Eto'o. They have quality players such as Makoun, Bassong, Alexandre Song, N'Geumo, Mbia & Emana. Also add to that the regualr form players in there team, the likes of Germei, Rigobert Song, Meyong, Webo & of course Kameni in goal. Cameroon for 2nd | |

Must be some serious drugs being smoked around your part of the world if you think Holland wont win that group. I'll go as far as saying that they'll destroy that group, 9 points and a goal difference of 6+ at least. I cant believe people take for granted the quality & class of the Dutch, Quarter Finalists at minimum. This is a team that can go all the way.
