| Udinese looked great today, real formidable team if they can keep their young talent.
But, congrats Inter, hopefully things will be shaken up for the scudetto next term.

| Maybe he thinks his career is slipping and he thinks the Juve "doctors" can "boost" his "performance" with a proper "diet" like they did back in the day | |

| Couldn't care less about Cannavaro. Really don't like him. Among the top of my list alongside Totti, Rooney, Vidic, Pepe, Cassano, etc. Never liked him and has always been an over rated prick in my eyes. How he left the club when they were sent to Serie B was cowardly. You didn't see better players in Buffon, Del Piero and Camoranesi do the same did you. Hope the Juve fans are still pissed off at him and give him sh!t. I hope he does poorly at Juve like he has at Real. | |

Hes got some nerve to come back really, after leaving them when they were in the mess. Now hes back to benefit himself.

I hope he does poorly at Juve like he has at Real. An overrated prick that has over 100 caps for Italy? You are delusional. As for leaving Juventus, they sold Cannovaro not the other way round. They could not afford all the players salaries any more and some had to be sold. Camoranesi did want to leave but he got forced to stay. Buffon and Del Piero are symbols of the club. They were never going to be sold.

| That's quite harsh on Cannavaro. I think he is one of the true professionals of the sport, but I think going back to Juve is not a smart move. It is a known fact that the Juventini are not happy, due to his leaving during Calciopoli, and will make their voices heard. I don't even see really what Cannavaro, at 36, can offer a team like Juve. Him being in the squad will only prevent a younger player from time on the pitch. | |

| The transfer season has started. I just read that Genoa confirmed that Thiago Motta and Milito go to Inter, and they get Acquafresca and cash as payment. At the same time Genoa have signed Floccari...pretty large movements right there... | |

Genoa will have signed potentially the 2 most exciting young strikers in Italy if that deal goes through. They will continue to challenge for the CL with a forward line like that.

A bit stupid by Inter to let Acqua go, in my opinion. This guy has potential. Maybe the deal is a 50-50 ownership..? At the same time, I feel Genoa has taken a wise decision; replacing an aged Milito (still the best finisher in the league, but old...) with two of the most potential strikers in the league...well done to Genoa, who are building a super strong team for the future...

Good move by Genoa, they have sort of saved face as Milito and Motta were likely always going to leave after the season they have had. Aquafresca is certainly a greart prospect and Floccari at 27 should bring some maturity to their front line. Should be a top six side for sure, but think they need to find a replacement for Motta if they are to get into the top four. Though, a side with Jankovic, Palladino etc has good foundations anyway.

| Great replacements for Milito. Aquafresca is a great young talent and Floccari has shown in the last 2 years that he is a player which deserves to play in a bigger club. Really well done job from the club. | |

I fully agree. He is top model professional and any young player should aspire to be like him. Cannavaro is better then the other defenders at Juventus other then Chiellini who will probably partner him in centrel defence. He was on a free transfer so it is not as bad it sounds. I do not think Juventus care about young players. They only care for winning.

| So, after yesterdays game, Reggina has been degraded to Serie B, and with two games left for the rest of th teams it seems as if the battle will be between Lecce, Torino and Bologna on which two teams will join Reggna in B. In my eyes, Lecce will probably have a hard time beating Viola on Sunday, meaning that they too will be back in B. A massive battle this Sunday between Chievo and Bologna, and if Bologna was to win that one, Chievo will be highly involved in the degrading battle as well, (however, they only need one point against Bologna to matemathically secure their Serie A fututre). Torino, on the other hand, play Genoa this weekend, which might proove to be to hard to handle for Toro as Genoa still have a tiny chance to grab the final CL spot.
On the final match-day, Chievo face Napoli away, while Toro have merda in Rome. Bologna has probably the easiest of these teams' final game as they play Catania, that have nothing to play for, at home.
What do you guys think? What team will occupy the last two spots leading to Serie B??

| Paolo Maldini will play his last home game in Serie A at the San Siro against Roma on sunday. As a fan of football, I want to express thanks to one of the greatest defenders to ever play the game. A remarkable player, one I have memories of since the 94 world cup. A true legend of the game, enjoy your retirement. | |

Exceptional career and a clean one at that, an ambassador to the sport and surely an icon in the football world.

| Fiorentina get Champions League but Juve are up to 2nd and so will need the points against us unfortuantely to try and stay there... I thought we'd be in for an easier last game. Lecce down, Torino or Bologna to follow (Bologna are home to Catania next and Toro at Merda)... We can only get overtaken by Atalanta now but they are at Inter last game who will still want to win at home, especially as they lost today. 10th or 11th so up on last year | |
