| Ok, now different sources claim that the SECOND medical with Cissokho went well and that Milan is ready to tie him down.
Interesting to see MIlan going for some fresh blood, picking out reinforcements that have the potential to grow...

| Now Cissokho's agent claims he will be a Milan player by the end of the summer.
A loan deal is being negotiated apparentley.
I just want this saga to end.
Getting worse than the Cristiano Ronaldo one.

| With Milan having made a lot from Kaka's move to Madrid, do you think they have, or even Inter, any chance of signing Ribery? It would be good for Italian football however unlikely it seems. | |

| A chance of signing Ribery? Yes, but I hope they won't.
Serie A went downhill from the moment Juventus got relegated to B. Inter have a severe lack of Italians there and yet they haven't been able to deliver in Europe. Juve have had to go through a rebuilding process and Milan have suffered with an ageing squad. Serie A really needed a Fiorentina or a Napoli, someone with the funds to push through but it never happened.
All 3 sides need vast improvements to compete with the Spanish sides and English sides in Europe. For that to happen, they need an overhaul and I'd rather see them sign 4 players who can add to the team rather than a Ribery.
I think Mourinho has got it wrong at Inter with his targets and I think Juve and Milan may be ready to step up to the plate again. There's room for a fourth team to join that group. I don't think Fiorentina have cement their place yet.

When could we expect the schedule for next season to be out?

| Well done to Livorno for making it back up to Serie A.... can't wait to kick their ass.... Parma are reportedly very close to signing Antonio Di Natale from Udinese for around 17 million Euros on a 4 year contract. A top class player but he is 31. Where do they have that much money from?? The Ducali are very busy in this mercato and are eyeing in our target, Acquafresca, and also Merda defender, Panucci. | |

| I would imagine that all promoted teams will be forced into a position where it makes more sense to spend themselves out of B permanently than to miss out on valuable television rights money.
I think Parma are dead certs for a top 10 place next season, could even see them snatching a top 6 place. Might sound laughable now but I got a feeling...

| Wow Caxi, you must be having the smelling as on the Green Island. Send some!
Waiting for the Livorno battle already. Somehow I am happy they are back. Only beating merda tops beating the skanky red fishers.
I dont know why, but I have a feeling that Inter is widening the gap to the rest of Serie A so far this summer. I know Juve bought Diego, and that Milan is probably lining up a few decent signings, but I still have the feeling that Inter is the team that is once again showing that they are the no1 side in Italy...

| Parma must be cooking the books again!! They survive but they'll still finish bottom half.
Livorno will go straight back down with a customary loss to Lazio of course, and Bari's season depends on how they replace the players (like Guberti, Barreto etc) that they are inevitably going to lose. More than likely they'll get relegated but if they keep the core of their side together, they should be OK.

| I hope Parma stay up, they belong in Serie A and im sure they will if there willing tp spend money like that. Top half? Maybe. Its hard to predict who will finish there really, Samp for example didnt this season, but they did the season before. | |

| Here is the new ball for the upcoming season .. - Quote :
- Lega Calcio unveil new ball
Tuesday 30 June, 2009 The Nike Total 90 Ascente is the new Lega Calcio official ball that will be used in Serie A, Serie B, the Coppa Italia and Italian Super Cup.
The ball was formally unveiled today in the Lega Calcio's headquarters in Milan by President Giancarlo Abete and Nike General Manager Andrea Rossi.
Tested in a wind tunnel with 'micro-grooves', which make it more aerodynamic, the Ascent is red and silver as opposed to the red and white ball seen last season.
It will make its debut on August 8 when Inter and Lazio face off in the Italian Super Cup in Beijing.
