| The tradition says that a team with a new coach wins it's first game (most of the times) so I really hope we do take all the points from Parma because we really need them! | |

They drew with Internazionale but they did not play well. They were lucky. Unbelievably in the last five matches we have picked up more points then Parma have in the same round of fixtures. We have to win even if Parma have a good home record.

| I feel weird. This weekend I will not be able to watch Parma-Lazio, I'll be away on a trip. The last game I missed was Lazio-Levski which I couldn't watch because my net connection was acting up (not that I missed anything great tho) and before that I can't really recall. There was that game against Siena i believe that we were forced to watch only as a part of that simultaneous coverage of all games...
And it really feels weird. Especially since now Ballardini is gone I expect a revolution of our gameplay and I'm dying to see what the gameplan will look like.

| So how exactly is the man from Friuli preparing to bring the Aquile back to life again?
In just 48 hours it seems Reja has already put right a number of issues which have been plaguing Formello since the start of the campaign.
The first and most pressing matter has been the re-integration of Biancocelesti outcast Cristian Ledesma. After offering the Lazio patron no choice but to give him an access all-areas pass to the squad, the new coach has already stamped out an authority unseen under the previous regime.
Given the manner in which the Aquile have struggled to link defence and attack this season the Argentine’s inclusion will no doubt have a massive impact on the side and this could prove vital during the relegation run-in.
Second on the coach’s agenda has been to hand back some faith to a contingent of players who seemed to have lost their way in the capital during Ballardini’s reign. After playing such a key role last term, Reja will now look to rediscover Tommaso Rocchi, Pasquale Foggia and Stephan Lichtsteiner in a bid to utilise the experience amongst a group full of new arrivals.
This trio of forgotten talents could now form a firm part of the tactician’s plans to turn Lazio into a compact unit in preparation for the struggle ahead. With Reja almost certain to utilise a 3-5-2 formation the former Lille man will immediately be reinstated to the starting line up having been banished to the stands during last weekend’s defeat against Catania.

| Badly tanslated but I found this quote about training - The orientation of Reja and tried in these two days are very important. The only certainty is that something has changed radically and you can see with the naked eye. In part the spirit, which is very different (but this is natural), during the only training yesterday, lasted over an hour and a half, what with Ballardini hardly you saw. This sounds promising! Not sure I'm keen on seeing Mauri as a likely starter in midfield , but apart from that it is looking good. This section in relation to Foggia made me laugh - The dwarf Parthenopeus, in fact, played only the first phase of training. | |

Many Laziali, who had already purchased their ticket, have had to give it back and get the reimbursement.

| This is the squad called up: Berni, Muslera; Biava, Lichtsteiner, Diakité, Kolarov, Radu, Siviglia, Scaloni, Stendardo; Baronio, Brocchi, Hitzlsperger, Firmani, Ledesma, Mauri; Floccari, Makinwa (maybe a Reja favourite ?!), Rocchi, Zarate. Mauri Surely it is better to get Hitzlsperger in there with Ledesma and get some real quality going straight away. I am guessing that Dias and Foggia's injuries were a little more serious than first thought, enough to keep them out anyway. We go into this with renewed optimism and a fresh approach, at least we don't have to suffer that awful Sunday afternoon downer of Balla hudled on the bench anymore... Edit - little quote from Reja that maybe hints that he rates the highlighted player above: “Zarate - He has extraordinary potential, just as Sergio Floccari, Tommaso Rocchi, Stephen Makinwa and Simone Inzaghi are perfectly valid strikers." Since when were Maki and Inzaghi valid strikers? I know, I know, he has a squad to keep happy, enough of the funny stuff... | |

| I'm really excited for this match. I want to see what Reja brings to the squad, and I hope its renewed optimism and belief. I'm also keen to see what formation the new Mister uses. Hope to see Ledesma play - that will be special. A shame Foggia and Dias are unavailable though. Hoping for a rejuvenated performance and a result to match it. We need to start fast and although Parma are a quality side - they have been below par in their last few games so we need to make the most of that. Also, they will be missing key players like Dzemaili - and I also read Panucci merda may be out. FORZA LAZIO!!!!! | |

| Let's hope for a good result. Overall, after recent developments a draw would be a good result. I don\t know about you but, my opinion is that without Meghni and Foggia Lazio simply does not know how to play, actually under Ballardini it was a sterile game. I got impression that Ballardini purposely left out those two great players. | |
